Most UNDERUSED mods on Broncos? Go!

Ohhh... dash rail. I forgot about that. That should be on the list too.

Installed, never used it. It was the Archetype Racing BYOD rail... and of course they went out of business before I could get the proper attachments for them.

I'm a little surprised at this... I use mine for my phone all the time, and with the GoPro on trips.

Tailgate table is the only mod Ive done that I use all the time. Use it for sitting my fly box on it while Im tying on or when Im eating while Im fishing.

100% the most under used and mindless mod is [drumroll please]... Removing the side curtain airbags in order to lower the center of gravity and reduce the overall weight of the Bronco

DISCLAIMER: Not me, but another thread someone started yesterday requesting ideas on the SAFEST way to remove side curtain airbags to achieve those CG and weight saving goals

Hmm. So I would say my Rotopax gas cans? I never used them. I am always within gas stations.
I have had use my winch 3 times. I would say that is use!
Lastly I would say my rear pocket doors. I put them on to complete the set!

Hmmmm - I think my #1 unused mod is the double tray for the center console. I only use the top tray. Sure, I keep a ton of junk underneath but never access it.

Why would someone modify their Bronco and then not use the feature/part?

3. Snorkels

GOAT Modes (I just use the dash switches)
Hill Descent Control (not even sure how it works or why I care with a manual trans.)
Back Seat (should just toss it…)

Only one. Paracord handles. Never use them. They are positioned about as badly as the OEM handles. But I got compliments on them today from a hospital staff member. They look cool. Picked up a family member from hospital today. Pointed out the handle to assist getting in. Looked at them and struggled up without touching them.

Have used winch, hi lift, short tow strap, skid plates & sliders, dash rail, shackles, “trickflate” compressor, 4 tire inflator hose, sway bar disconnect, lights, audio system , and on….

I wouldn't count emergency or recovery gear as 'mods'. That's just being prepared.

The tailgate table is probably the least used for me, but it certainly is still worth having for those times when I do need it.

-Factory roof rack - looks cool, but never use it.
-tow hitch - came with it but never would have ordered It. Tow with my 2500 instead.
-NOCO jump box - glad I have it, but have not needed it yet.

I think probably the only mod I don’t really use is the dash mount rail. Used it a few times to hold my phone for trail videos but have a dash cam installed now so won’t need it. I use the main display screen for on-x when I’m on the trails. Have used all my recovery gear several times, mostly to recover others lol. Haven’t been stuck myself since I installed the winch but again have pulled out several vehicles, including sheriff’s deputies and an ambulance. Guess I could put my dune flag and mount on the list since I’ve been working too much to do any of roading since I installed it lol.

edit: I forgot I did get stuck once in the snow this past spring and needed the winch
