Forscan question - Windows 10/11 or Windows 10/11 Pro?

Hi. Long long Mac user (from when apple started) and dont want to virtual a pc.

As Black Friday/Cyber Monday are coming up I want to get a cheap PC for FORScan.

I understand it runs on Windows 10/11 but do I need the Windows Pro 10/11? Forscan page doesn't specifically say. Don't know anything PC

But I need to be sure its not windows home / s mode, correct?

To add on to @Brian_B's comment about Windows S...

Make sure you do not get an Arm-based laptop. Some of the new Surfaces, for example, are Arm-based processors (ie. Snapdragon processors). Needs to be x86-based (Intel or AMD processors).
