Alsoooo, vehicles not equipped with OEM signature lighting do not have the turn signal lead at the BCM. There is also a turn signal outage lead missing at the BCM on none signature lighting vehicles. I confirmed this on my Black Diamond.

Also confirmed. The "yellow" turn signal does not function with this swap (using OEM LED taillight). But you can get a "red" functioning turn indicator to work. In my write-up I will be setting this as a expectation when performing this conversion.

Yes, combining brake and turn signals in forscan gives us the turn signal. I actually like to look of the red turn signal over the center yellow signal

Do you know if the aftermarket LEDs for vehicles originally equipped with halogen tail lights separate the yellow turn signal from the red brake light?
If so, the issue could be fixed with an aftermarket wiring harness.

I've been considering adding the "missing" wires that would run from the BCM to each tail light assembly. Perhaps this would help?

We are on the same page. Just today I ordered 10awg wire from Amazon. Yes, I'm hoping this would help. There is also a turn outage wire that needs to be run from the bcm as well. See the 1st post in this thread.

I have had success with some aftermarket lighting manufacturers integrating the "yellow" turn signal option. I have an extensive write up coming for different LED options and what to expect when choosing those options. But at the moment, Im stuck on the last 10% or so of making the OEM Signature Lighting work properly (mostly) without DRL "flickering".

Here's where Im at..... The amount of work and effort it takes to wire in the "yellow" turn signal compared to compromising with a flashing red turn signal is not worth the effort. Unfortunately, most won't put in the time to complete that job. If I could get a fully operational DRL, Brake, Reverse, and turn signal of any kind with Forscan ONLY. I think most would consider that a WIN! And a proper write up will help push the community past the "Can I upgrade from Halogen to Signature Lighting?" posts.

Yes, those aftermarket tail lights tap into the high mount brake light for brake light function. Leaving the standard Halogen signals for the signal light. Forscan only needed to kill hyper flashing

I've tried modifying asbuilt Duty_Cycle and a few other data to match '24 Broncos equipped with signature lighting using data copied from motorcraftservice to no avail. I also reset "enhanced lighting" in foscan...nada.

I'm in the process or running those 3 missing wires from the bcm to the tails, then set forscan to operate turn signal and brake independently as it should. Then I will have forscan reset/relearn enhanced lighting.

This makes a lot of sense and seems easier to replicate than running cables from the BCM to the tail lights.

The only unknown is, the bcm also has a LED signal outage wire, between the tails and bcm, that needs to be installed on non signature light trucks. This wire sends a voltage signal back to the bcm from the tail lights when the led light are functioning correctly. The question is, without installing this signal wire, does the bcm default to halogen duty cycle/pwm function, causing taillight flicker/pulsing?No idea.

Question for the guys that installed signature headlights, does Forscan show the attached fault code? My research says the only way to get rid of it is with FDRS. The headlight LED modules need to be programmed to the bcm.

I understand, I did make some changes with Forscan to turn off the hyper signaling but I don't notice a flicker/pulsing. Maybe I haven't looked hard enough but it doesn't bother me. I just want the amber turn signal and I think that if I use a harness from an aftermarket producer, I might get them to work.

And it comes to an end.

'24 Black Diamond fitted with OEM Signature tail lights are operating as they should, flicker free with yellow turn signals (rather than red turn signals routed to the brake light via Forscan).

To eliminate tail light flicker I ended up bypassing the bcm's positive park light lead. The park lights are now powered directly by 12v and are switched on/off by the bcm via a digital relay. The park lights operate as normal...switched on and off like stock. No more flicker at the park lights.

In the end I'm satisfied. I personally prefer the look of the OEM signatures over any current aftermarket lights. I tried a set of aftermarkets and they were nothing but problems. Also, OEMs will outlast aftermarket lights.

I also want to add, a PWM signal is not sent to the tail lights for LED equipped Broncos....just clean 12v power. PWM is used for Halogen equipped Broncos to conserve energy and bulb longevity (fast on/off switching saveS energy). However the front DRL lights use PWM. Just some info I learned during this process.

Do you mind explaining how you accomplished this? Was it all done using Forscan? or what was done physically? How did you get the amber turn signals to work?

Thanks and sorry if I didn't understand your explanation.
