Started as an OBX grill with blackout letters:

It was replaced with an aftermarket white heritage grill with paint matched edges/bronco letters, and a fender flare/hardtop-ish black center:

Now I just need to decide if I should put the orange turn signal covers on, tint them black and put them on, or just not add them.

They look like this:

Either tint them black or no go on the orange.

I used the same rpm grille, but went a little more 1972 old school on mine.

I have the same grill from IAG. I haven’t painted the border edge body color yet but I did paint it carbon black and do like the orange covers.

EDIT: I’ll add that your truck has a more monochromatic look, and orange is a contrasting color for your blue paint. Yours looks great now the white bars without the covers.

Your Bronco and the green flashes bronco both look awesome. The grills look good with the covers! Thanks for the example!

I got the same grill, but thought the plastic covers didn't suit the signature lights, so I went with the StickerFab DRL Bar Overlays in orange.

What could be a really cool look on your Bronco, if you can get the parts, is if you got clear lens corner park lights on the side of the grill. Ford has those on the Bronco for China:

Then from the front, everything would be matched blue, carbon black, and white for all the lights. I dunno if it is possible to get those parts here in US.

This is a good idea. Time to research! Thanks!

Did you use the oem letters? That looks good!

Thanks! Yes, I transferred the OEM letters from my Badlands grille. The IAG grille came with letters in a flat red color which didn’t look good in combination with the metallic Hot Pepper Red body color.

@The Compensator @DarthLincoln What did you use to paint the center of the grille black?
I used Rustoleum Truck Bed Coating. It has a texture similar to the modular bumper. You can see more details and photos from when I painted my grille in this post: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/vintage-grille-in-black.81922/#post-2540628

EDIT: originally I had painted the entire grille with DipYourCar HyperDip removable paint, just to see if I would like it being carbon black. The photo in the post you quoted was when it was still painted with the HyperDip paint, before I repainted it using Rustoleum..

Thank you for the reply! I do like the texture with the truck bed paint. I think I'll paint the red letters silver and see how they look (shape-wise, they seem a little off to me) and pull the oem letters if necessary. Maybe pull the oem letters anyway and paint them too? Looking forward to this winter project.
