Removing the panels but leaving the rear shell on the two door creates thumping noise at certain speeds, similar to putting the windows down in most modern cars. Wind buffeting for passengers is not good.Agreed on a 2 door it wouldn’t be appreciated and utilized as much as a 4 door with 3 top panels removed for more than enough open air experience with rear shell left on and windows out
I don’t care for the way the wind is that way. I either drive it with just the front panels off or it all off. Of course unless it’s all on.Oh wow. Strange you guys feel that way. I like taking the whole top off but, when I don't feel like going through the hassle, I pop the front two panels, gunner's hatch and rear windows and it open's it up nicely. My back seat passengers have commented how it's just about as good as taking the whole top off.
I think my dog was loving it...lolI don’t care for the way the wind is that way. I either drive it with just the front panels off or it all off. Of course unless it’s all on.
I know mine would...lolMy seat belts were flapping like his earsI first tried a Velcro strap to the roll bar but then ended up just fastening them with the shoulder harness around the headrest.
I’m sure the dogs in the world will be saddened with the news that the Bronco’s won’t come with removable rear windows anymore!
Welcome, yep plenty to catch up on!Joining the club soon, just put a deposit on a 24 HEL 2-door Robin's Blue! It's my wife Bronco, we're pretty excited to get it and make it her own. Guess I have 689 pages to read... been trying to figure out how to get the fenders white and which white rims to get. Is it frowned upon to powder coat the black rims?
I stole someone's picture from the start of this thread, my attempt at photoshop. Too much white?![]()
Cosmetic mods make the bronco look worse. I did swap the side steps for the Ford rock rails and I have mud flaps, but I kept the steps and the mud flaps can be removed.Joining the club soon, just put a deposit on a 24 HEL 2-door Robin's Blue! I might buy one just to test. I do like the added height and the slippery feel of the plastic knob of the current one.I may need to take that off your hands… gonna try @jsoa ’s to see how I like it…
I wonder which one he has, I had a replacement sent to me which was a little shorterI may need to take that off your hands… gonna try @jsoa ’s to see how I like it…
The one on the left is the newer of the “older” ones. That’s the one I have.I wonder which one he has, I had a replacement sent to me which was a little shorter
