An Outer Banks, good to know. Elsewhere in this forum I've read only about 2000 of the Heritage model, 2 and 4 door, are being produced for 2024. So am feeling pretty fortunate, it just kind of fell out of the sky -
and love the color too - nothing boring about race red.

It’s hard to go wrong with a Race Red 2 door. The volumes are very small. It’s something I’m not as excited about but it will depend on if they use similar parts for and 2025’s. I had a 1995 F-150 Lightning that I had for 25 years. It was really hard getting the specialty parts after 10-15 years. The standard parts weren’t too bad but it was one of the reasons I decided to get rid of it as I was always worried if it were in an accident.

Welcome!!! There are two Heritage trim levels. Heritage Limited Edition based on the Badlands has 3 colors and production is limited to 1966 2dr and 1966 4dr. Your Heritage Edition is based on the Big Bend has 6 colors and no production limit though still fairly low since 1st round was for reservation holders only then opened for retail orders for those who Had to Have One. Doubt there were many if any dealer stock orders.

As the owner of a '73 Bronco, and now the owner of a '24 Heritage, I figured it's about time to join this forum. I've found lots of helpful info here, so, many thanks to the folks who keep it running, it's a great service! Being brand new here, any pointers on using the forum are greatly appreciated

Anyway, here's my Heritage story:

I took this photo of a '66 Jeep Cherokee last summer, in mostly original condition. Look like anything familiar? I just thought it was cool and left it at that.

Then I saw my first Heritage, this one, near where I live. Looks like one of the first ones built, note the wheels and a few other touches:

Somewhat electrified, I could not believe how cool this thing was. I showed the picture to my wife, then just went about other things. But she's pretty good about sleuthing, and found one - somehow, through Ford.com - at a dealership a couple hours away. Well, I messaged them, just checking you know, and the answer was "it's not showing in our inventory, but let me check with my manager".

Missed his call that night, but he called me the next day: "If I'd talked to you last night I'd of had disappointing news, but I've got good news today - the deal fell through and it's for sale". So, apparently it was a special order that someone decided to walk away from.

Being just before Memorial Day weekend, I knew it would disappear immediately if not sooner, so I quickly got financing, closed the deal and it was delivered to my garage, shown here, the next day:

Still cannot believe it. Total luck. Wouldn't have happened without my wife digging into it, and I had no idea. Anyway, that's my story - I love that thing, and am trying to keep my truck stable from getting out of hand, so the '73 Bronco is for sale now - check it out here if you like:

Welcome! Great acquisition story, but after looking at your '73 resto mod Bronco, I don't know that I could have made the choice to buy the new '24 if it meant having to give up the '73! That's one beautiful '73 Bronco!

Thanks King,! I've really enjoyed the '73. It's stored for the summer, only drive it October to May here in the desert, though it does have AC. Am gonna miss the sound of a high lift cam with turbo mufflers.

But I still have a '73 GMC K2500, bone stock, in my possession 40 years next February. So I can still have a vintage drive, although a little quieter

My dad bought a 76 K2500 with factory delivery and drove it home to Vancouver BC. He had it for a long time,like till 2010.

I’ve been experiencing a rattle coming from somewhere behind the passenger seat but I can’t for the life of me figure out what it is. It’s definitely not coming from the tailgate but rather somewhere between the passenger seat and the seat behind it. Anyone else experienced something similar?

For anyone like me looking for sill guards, really liking these I just got for my new Heritage. There aren't many OEM Ford options, and the other one is a small metal guard that I immediately returned. (Too shiny and too slick to step on).

This one is made for Ford by Tufskinz and is especially nice on the Heritage because the white of the bucking bronco is a perfect fit with all the white trim, roof, wheels, etc ..... I couldn't find any photos of them installed before I bought them, so here goes:

Nice I notice that your floor mat doesn’t lay down against the kick panel very well. I thought mine was the only one like that…

Yeah, that mat was like that from new. It could be a little better than in the photo if I move it over a little. But it was never perfect.

My Bronco is finally home! Picked up at Stephens, 10 minutes in and out, and took it 850 miles home. Absolutely love it and worth the wait after all this time.

First question after poking around all the features today, did they get rid of the removable rear windows?? I definitely do not have any tabs or screws.

You are the second person I have seen with the mod top without the removable windows.
The other is an HEL that was just picked up.

I posted this on Reddit, but:

Spotted a '24 2D HLE in Peak Blue on the lot Friday morning on the way to work and traded in my 4D FE for it that afternoon.

This morning I was looking into the modular hardtop features as opposed to the older MIC top I had and from what I can tell, the rear side windows are supposed to be removable.

However, my top doesn't appear to have this. Attached is a photo of mine, showing where the release bolt should be.

I have my window sticker, but it's been so long that I don't remember how to find out my build date if that's relevant. I can tell you that it arrived on the lot last Tuesday, so it only lasted three days before I snatched it up.

Does anyone have any input? I've emailed the dealer but don't expect to hear back until tomorrow, and probably can't go in until Tuesday.

The removable windows was a major reason that I waited for the modular top and I would have been very unhappy to find that Ford had removed them before delivering my bronco. I don't remember this being mentioned as a Job 2 change and they had definitely advertised them as a feature of the mod top. I would hope that Ford would compensate those of you that ordered an HE expecting the removable windows and don't get them, otherwise they might be opening themselves up for a false advertising lawsuit...

Now I wonder if the windows were the reason for all our delivery delays of if it's just a bit of standard Ford cost cutting hoping that no one will notice.
