The tray in front of the fob holder is ... too large to hold the fob ... ?

Agree with everyone who leaves it in their pocket, why take it out? That's the beauty of keyless. I can't wrap my brain around this.

And if you need to put it anywhere, center console is right there.

The push button start is absolutely the best, and I'm surprised keys still exist.

But, then where will I put the second super venti half cap caramel pumpkin spice latte frappuccino mocha with extra whip? 🤯
If that's what you drink then I'd suggest between your legs next to your VaJayJay

Nice! But what would REALLY make sense would be if Ford made a slot for the key in place of the idiotic start button. And then you rotated the key to start the car! That way, you wouldn’t have to find a separate place to put the key. It seems so logical that it’s hard to believe that no one ever thought of that! Whoever thought of a start button should be sent to Siberia with only a Speedo IMHO. I think the push button start is one of the dumbest ideas ever to make its way into a vehicle.
I just leave the key in my pocket the whole time. Step 1) take it off the key rack at home. Step 2) place in pocket until I get home. I use the same pocket that would hold the key when I park the Bronco.

Plus, if there was an ignition switch, I guaran-darn-tee there would be hysterical complaining about how the keys scratch the plastic dash or how noisy the jangling keys are when off-roading, or 10 other things I haven't even thought of. 💀

Having a keyless front door at home, I was excited about being able to keep my key in my pocket in the car as well. In actuality my pockets are overloaded with work phone, personal phone, AirPods, work keys, 2 pocket knives, and a pen light and is uncomfortable on long drives.
You need to simplify your life. 💀 It'll solve a lot more problems than where to put your key. 😆

Pros of being a woman with a small handbag I suppose. My key rarely ever leaves my purse. Lol.

Y'all just need some man purses.

Mercedes use to have that. The wifes last one just had the start button though. I liked the keyfob as a key deal though.

The trick is to keep it in the same place on a regular basis, so you know where to look for it. Especially important at my age. I need a number of keys, so it's on a key ring which I clip to a belt hook. Always there, the truck unlocks as I approach the driver's door.

"Man purse?"...Hmmm.... I need a supply of camo scrunchies to secure my man-bun to match my man-purse." :sneaky:

With four household members driving my Bronco, one of the first things I did was buy 3rd party key fobs and clone them. Otherwise a hassle/expense could ensue if one or more of the key fobs go MIA.

What I miss about old school keys is ease of making cheap copies at the hardware store, and unequivocally knowing when I turned the key off, the vehicle was off.

With the button, myself and some family members have accidentally left the Bronco on, due to the ASS, and not requiring a key turn to "off" to remove the key.

Also I have three key fob vehicles now, and I'm not walking around with three key fobs. With old school keys it was easy they are smaller so always had them with me on a ring, when needing to move vehicles or whatever, instead of having to retrieve from the house the particular vehicle key fob.
