Bought the Road and Track spec Bronco!

So, new to the forum and the Bronco - I'm an F150 guy. My wife owned a Subaru Outback which was becoming problematic and she was ready for a change. She wanted to go back to a Wrangler, but having driven my F150 plenty, wanted to go kick tires at our Ford dealership first.

... and we have a Bronco now. Specifically:

• Big Bend 4 Door
• Insulated Hard Top Roof
• 2.3 Ecoboost with Automatic Transmission
• Mid Package (222A)
• Sasquatch Package

I came home, signed up for the forum, and read this thread and this associated article from Road and Track and had a laugh to myself. For a base model, this is really nice!

I was skeptical at first about the Bronco but it's grown on me and I quite enjoy it. Looking at maybe picking up an Auto Start Stop Eliminator and some Broflaps. We've already thrown on some side-steps to be nice to our passengers and I've already taken a spin through Forscan.

The signature lighting on the BB has always been an option, but come standard with the base halogen lights.

Broflaps up front are awesome and basically a necessity to protect the paint and rear fender flares. Congrats!!

Thank you! Broflaps are getting ordered tomorrow. The Bronco was inaugurated with a roadtrip to a provincial park (with plenty of gravel roads) and that's been deemed the most pressing issue.

All Bronco's come with LED headlights. Signature headlights are either optional or standard on every model.

Correct, but the base lighting has halogen tails. I should have been clearer in my original comment.

Signature headlights were not an option on Black Diamond, for some odd reason. Don't know if that's changed...

For a little more you could of had a badlands..I go back a forth on bigbend with Sasquatch Package.And A base badlands!

I like the look of the Badlands. But the dealership had one Big Bend and a couple of Wildtracks so our choices are limited. Limited might be the wrong word. I had the Bronco today and was ripping around town in sport mode. There's no way a 4 banger should sound this good or be this peppy.

Unfortunately, the reason I had the Bronco today was my wife was coming around a curve and the local roads department may have been painting a *little* outside of their work zone, so the side and fenders were sprayed with white paint. Luckily thanks to WD40, a pressure washer, and some clay and trim restorer, the Bronco looks good as new. Unfortunately, the aftermarket running boards and steps didn't clean very well, so I have some test spots soaking in vaseline overnight per roads department direction.

Broflaps and touchup paint got ordered today as well - already two rock chips on the doors!

Okay. So like the ones on my Wildtrack. I looked on my window sticker and didn’t see anything about “signature headlights “.
