Hi Everyone.

I hope to get some feedback for a couple of doubts I have before moving forward with what we are trying to do.

I have been reading for a couple of weeks now, and watching reviews over King Coilovers, and their counterparty Fox 2.5.

I am more used to Fox, since got them on 2 different F150 Raptors from Factory and the ride with the right C-Rated K02's on 35" is great, but I still want to give KING a try.

When we got the Bronco, we got the Wildtrak with Sasquatch package, but I have to say, the ride it is not so great. specially on the back.

Anyways, we are thinking now on install King Coil Overs and possibly go for 37"s. This is a daily driver car, my wife uses, and she likes the idea. My only concern is the Geometry and even when replacing UCA's I am worried about breaking CV's etc. What I have quoted is CoilOvers, UCA's Tie Rods and Stabilizer links. we plan to do almost no extreme offroading with this vehicle, so thats question #1. How easy a CV joint is going to be affected by going with these coilovers? and what are the chances to break one on a daily conmute.

Second item is the 37"s. Are they really worth it? I have seen builds and they look amazing for the looks, but if we can keep the original 35's with the factory wheels that would be fine too. Also if we go 37"s after the King CO install, we have to replace the wheels to Offset 0 from what I've read?

Last item, is there an intermediate (possible stage 2) suspension that we can upgrade from the Yellow Bilsteins that give some ride confort? I have seen some other Bilsteins and Eibach kits, and I have used those brands on another vehicles but I have no clue if they are any good.

Attached picture of the vehicle we own.

Thanks for the advice.

If you're okay with improving ride quality without lifting or going to 37s, check out the Fox suspension that now come standard on the Wildtrak (HOSS 3.0). I haven't driven both to compare but I heard it's a much better ride, might be worth finding one to test drive

That's a great piece of advice. I went to the dealer the other day and found out they are coming with those Fox, but I did not knew the name of it. I will take a look on price. Thanks!!

You have a 21/22 WildTrak? So the Bilstein ESC-V's (yellow)?

If you keep the lift within 2", you should be fine on geometry. You want 37's, you'll need minimum 18mm offset, or 0mm as you suggest.

If you upgrade to a more true 35" tire than the stock GY's, I can't imagine you'll miss the 37's. I would recommend looking at a lighter 35 in the 60-70lbs range than 37's. That would keep you from having to go through too much to upgrade for 37's. Beyond getting stuff out of the way, you'll also want to upgrade the steering rack and tie rods with 37's.

Kings are supposed to be very nice and plush. Again, if you can keep them 2" max, you should be fine. Note you don't need a reservoir if you're not off roading hard or going through whoops.

If you're going to spend real money (Kings aren't cheap), I'd suggest contacting a tuner like AccuTune to help you get what you want.

This is one of the reviews I've seen and that make me incline for the KING's.... perhaps I am not doing anything of the offroading on the video. :)

That is correct Yellow Bilsteins installed from Factory at the moment.

I have been looking now and the HOSS 3.0 are not cheap either.. Car is not running the Goodyear Territory's and instead is using KO'2 (35"s).

I'll give a Call to AccuTune.

I have the Eibach 2.0 Coilovers, which I would say is the intermediate stage you mentioned, on my 2021 and it rides great on 37" K02s. I drive 40-ish miles a day on them with 0 issues and have also taken it on dirt/rocks.

Another vote for @AccuTune Offroad. I installed a set of Kings on my Badlands, and they customize the shocks to your needs and to overcome some natural geometry issues that the Kings have (too much droop for CV’s in the front). I am a fan.

Can you post a picture of your ride if possible with the setup? 2" needed for 37"s right?

is this the right set on the picture?
