Hi Everyone.

I hope to get some feedback for a couple of doubts I have before moving forward with what we are trying to do.

I have been reading for a couple of weeks now, and watching reviews over King Coilovers, and their counterparty Fox 2.5.

I am more used to Fox, since got them on 2 different F150 Raptors from Factory and the ride with the right C-Rated K02's on 35" is great, but I still want to give KING a try.

When we got the Bronco, we got the Wildtrak with Sasquatch package, but I have to say, the ride it is not so great. specially on the back.

Anyways, we are thinking now on install King Coil Overs and possibly go for 37"s. This is a daily driver car, my wife uses, and she likes the idea. My only concern is the Geometry and even when replacing UCA's I am worried about breaking CV's etc. What I have quoted is CoilOvers, UCA's Tie Rods and Stabilizer links. we plan to do almost no extreme offroading with this vehicle, so thats question #1. How easy a CV joint is going to be affected by going with these coilovers? and what are the chances to break one on a daily conmute.

Second item is the 37"s. Are they really worth it? I have seen builds and they look amazing for the looks, but if we can keep the original 35's with the factory wheels that would be fine too. Also if we go 37"s after the King CO install, we have to replace the wheels to Offset 0 from what I've read?

Last item, is there an intermediate (possible stage 2) suspension that we can upgrade from the Yellow Bilsteins that give some ride confort? I have seen some other Bilsteins and Eibach kits, and I have used those brands on another vehicles but I have no clue if they are any good.

Thanks for the advice.

If Kings are in your budget, then you have 3 great options to choose from that have a similar price tag: King, Fox, Ride. We originally had Kings on our Bronco and it rode amazing once we added our valving and CV savers. Fox were just as good, but required more work with rear springs. Now with our Ride Shocks, its insanely smooth on and off-road. You asked about 37s, and honestly I think thats one the best upgrades on our Bronco. I've had the pleasure of driving it off-road quite a bit, and hardly ever thought I needed to air down. It just works. C-rated tires and light weight wheels REALLY help this Bronco ride nice with little effort.

If you are considering one of those three brands, send over a message with any questions you may have, happy to help!

We've got several different Bronco's in our family. Our daughter just got a '24 Wildtrak with the factory Fox suspension setup and they're noticeably better than the Bilsteins on the road, particularly on choppy washboard type surfaces. I haven't had the chance to do any off-roading with it yet, but I'd expect it to be a good setup.

My wife has a Heritage Limited with the Bilstein shocks and they ride fine on the roads, but the Fox setup is better. I'd be more concerned about it if we were doing any high speed bombing across rough terrain, but it's perfectly fine for her daily use.

I put the full King setup on my Big Bend 2 DR including new UCA's and 37's with new 0 offset wheels. The ride is slightly stiffer than stock at slower speeds, but is way better at high speeds, particularly when things get rough. It soaks everything up with very little bounce. I've put around 25K miles on them and haven't had any issues with the CV's or tie rods (yet).
