I’d like to take my Bronco to the drive in and put a mattress thing in the back, by folding the seats won’t work. Can I easily remove them?

It's 4 bolts to remove each seat back. 2 bolts to remove the seat belt buckles, leave them plugged into the sensors on the back and tuck them into the floor foam. There is a flap already "cut out" to tuck the buckles into the floor, you will see once you remove the backs. Then 4 smaller bolts to remove the bottoms. Its all pretty straight forward.

I use the DeepSleep. you can use the "extra" piece on the side and sleep at an angle for more room. Its pretty comfy.

i built a flat bottom truck bed basically, and a little custom extender for when the seat is forward.

Thanks! I was hoping there was a cheap mattress that went the whole length etc.

Just to add, you want to leave the seat belt buckle plugged in and tucked under the foam otherwise you'll get an airbag warning light on your dash..

How tall are you?

At 6'2" there is no way in hell I'd want to sleep in the two door.

We also do not have a great solution for keeping the bugs out and getting fresh air in.

I can‘t even fit a shotgun in the back lengthwise so I can’t imagine anyone bigger than a child sleeping in the back. It’s a very small space.

I don’t want to sleep. Just want to lay down on something soft in the back and watch a movie at the drive in.

That seems a little extreme but I get it. Is the bottom surface flat after the seats are removed? Or are there places it bulges up?

Seems like allot of work to remove the seats just to get limited space to watch a movie. We actually have a drive-in here where I live, bring a blanket or a good beach chair unless you want to permanently remove the rear seats although a few have done a semi raised platform to keep the rear seats folded down and flat surface. Either way, good luck!
