How watertight is the roof. The hinged areas are my concern for constant rain fall in the Pacific Northwest.

Central Texas gets crazy rain with high winds. I use to laugh when I stayed in Seattle (Burien summer) and San Fran and folks be like, it's raining so hard! Look out the window. Where? It's just a mist and wet ground. Yeah, it's really coming down! (This is a convo I had in both places.)

We called 'em gullywashers, which apparently is a southern thing.

From what Fabian spoke on for batch 1 (My Batch) they are trying to start shipping near the end of the month. So he was saying around the week of 22nd or so. They want people to have it for the beginning of August.

I ordered my Square Back in black powder coat with sound deadening on Mon 7/8... Fabian has been super helpful throughout, with all the questions and purchase process. Now for the wait...

Yeah, NYC gets more precipitation than we do. Rarely do we get heavy rain or thunderstorms. The clouds just dump what they have before going over the mountains to the eastern desert side.
Not sure if it matters regarding whether a roof leaks. Constant rain will find a way in, if it exists.
I bought a Jag in Phoenix. Found the rubber seals were shot after moving back to Seattle.

Oh its coming down the home stretch now. While on a podcast with Blanco Bronco, Bird Dog, And the Adventures of Henderson & Co, Fabion (AD) stated that several hardtops were heading to get powder coated. They are firing up the second station and they are rolling along. Storm did not hit them, but there were some complications with people coming in.

You can check out their instagram too where they constantly post fabrication updates. They post videos almost daily of fabrication . Nice to see videos of them building these tops

If they stay on schedule, they should hopefully start shipping the slant back next week. In a statement from a video interview, (I think it was on dirt life) Fabion stated they were trying to get the slant backs out near the end of July. So fingers cross. He had also stated there were slant backs built and ready for powder. (Hoping mine was in that bunch!)

I am ready, I have everything in place. I hope that in August I will be enjoying my slant back here in the MIA.

Do share what you mean by “I have everything in place…”. I have one coming too and now I’m worried as I don’t know that I need things in place to prep?

Oh! Lol! You're good! What I meant was other things.

1. I bought Rockworkz screws to use for the hardtop.
2. I bought DV8 pocket rear molle panels for gullwing openings.
3. I am going to have my top panels done in a Forge Carbon Wrap to match my Forge Carbon hood and fender flares. My top will be white. Example of an overhead view is below.
4. I will use their external Molle on the gullwing to mount my Roto X. cans.

I have a space to put my Soft Top. Things like this.

Lol I am hoping they work! I bought them during that sale they just had. Orange to match my Badlands interior. Looing at pics of how the tops go on, there should be no issues.
