Nah, I just need to point out the major suspension failure that I just had which put the shock thru the rear of the frame. I suspect that @Ford Motor Company has me on ignore.

Well crap!! Yeah, I’m sure the ignore goggles are on. Sorry to hear that happened man, that sucks! Hope it’s fixable.

Sorry to see that. Imogine is/was on my bucket list. Do anything squirrely to make it break like that?
Nope nothing squirrelly, just easing through obstacles at a nice slow pace. Did a large amount of riding the day before and started hearing a very minor clunk intermittently towards the end of the day. Next morning looked at the fasteners and grabbed the cv shaft and all looked/ felt fine. Wrote it off to normal cv shaft end play. Should have put a wrench on the ball joints, maybe would have been able to tell the upper left ball joint nut / threads were failing idk.

That should buff out... @Ford Motor Company, be the hero and ask for the VIN.
Probably a dozen Jeeps and 4-runners passed me while working to get it off the trail and heard several comments like β€œlook another broke Bronco”. It’s quite embarrassing but completely my fault for not at least rechecking the torque on those reused fasteners when I installed the Eibachs.

Stock UCA's? Stock shocks? Curious to what caused this. Also interested to see if it's repair will be under warranty if it's the stock UCA/UBJ.

Was that ball joint separated when the lift was installed?
My guess is that the thread damage was caused by a loose fastener. The clunking you heard.
Maybe the thread damage was caused by over torque during install?

Dropped a ton of coin on lighting and a CO2 air system. Plus ordered some Blue Soft Shackle recovery points for the rear and Soft Shackle kinetic recovery rope. Lights were the big money. Baja Design 3 3" cubes for the Mod Bumper. SAE Clear Fog, Combo driving light and a spotlight Both off road). A 20" Baja Design Racer light bar for the low profile push bar up front. Last a set of Diode Dynamic SS2C Pro's in clear for stealthy low profile ditch lights. They are backlit in Blue to carry on my Ole Blu Theme.

I hate that it happened, but the UCA was obviously unbolted at some point to get the aftermarket coilovers installed. It looks like it wasn't torqued correctly and worked loose causing the thread damage - not seeing how that could be Ford's fault...

Did you go with the PowerTank CO2 setup? I've been really pleased with mine so far.

Generic version my shop buys. It comes from same Tank supplier PowerTank uses. Still need to use the same brackets from PowerTank. 2 Door is rear floor mount only and I got the bracket for the Fire Extingisher for the Mol panel too. I would not give them the $255 they wanted for the extinguisher from PowerTank. I will find that way cheaper. Saves about $400.

Yeah, I already had the tank and the extinguisher, but bought their mount and really like it. I ended up using the fire extinguisher bracket to mount a Pro Eagle air jack instead, then mounted the extinguisher to the roll bar.
