Anyone know a dealership where I can the carbon fiber Braptor parts at cost. Specifically the hood cowl, fender vents, and rear tailgate reinforcement.

Thank you.

Because you are special and the dealer should not make a profit?

I can tell you this for sure, unless you're a dealership parts department employee, you're paying retail.

Still it pays to do a bit of searching online, there are discounts to be had from various dealer related web sites. I saved money on Subaru parts, via buying online for local dealer pickup, often I was able to get a certain percentage off the price.

Maybe it's me, maybe other places in this country do things differently, maybe I just don't believe .

I have questions?

Where have you ever bought gen 6 Bronco parts at cost? Or any other current run of a vehicle for that matter?

How would you know the actual 'at cost' price?

If you have done this, why are you asking on a forum, you already know where to go?

If a dealer really is selling the parts 'at cost' then they are making up the lost profit in labor - which I'd imagine is then a wash. So then what does it matter?

None of this makes sense on any level, unless of course the 'at cost' price is not really the price the dealer paid, which means it's not 'at cost'

I suspect "at cost" really means "not inflated". I've had parts I could buy at O'Reilly's for $20 that a mechanic wanted to charge say $35 for; I also think but don't know for sure parts houses have lower prices for body and mechanic shops, since they would buy more frequently. I assume this lack of markup is what the OP is referring to.

Buy at cost and pay dealership to install.
I can see that happening. I've done that for people when I worked in a dealer parts department. Never seen a walk-in sale get cost though. 10% off just to make the sale sometimes but that's about it.

I don’t know of any dealership that marks up any products. That would just upset customers knowing they were getting ripped off. Pretty sure I saw it on a movie where the best business model is to work for free. Cuz write offs or something and keeping your customers happy.
