My Bronco was on the list of platforms they needed for R&D (Non Sasquatch Badlands) and I signed up around Thanksgiving last year. They contacted me in Dec. to let me know they were interested and would let me know when they were ready.

Around March/April they contacted me again saying they were ready. So @BroncoStorm is probably correct that they are getting ready to ramp up production soon.
Looks like you’ll get a free set then! You in SoCal?

Where did you find the reservoir? I doubt it was just sitting there on the ground where you parked. Did it ā€œfall offā€ or did you pull it off?
In my case, I found one of them the next day on the side of the road. It's very noticeable when you suddenly don't have any damping on your suspension so I had a ballpark idea of where to look.

Not everything is a consipracy.

Ya I'm in Orange County.

I ended up not doing it though. They offered me some cash or a set of 6100's. I told them I was only interested in upgrading to the 8100's. They didn't know the details, but they said I could get them discounted. Which I was fine with, but they couldn't give me specifics. Plus I couldn't keep the set they were going to try on my vehicle. They said they needed them back and they could get me a discounted set in the future.

Just seemed like a lot of work when I didn't even know what kind of deal they were going to give me.

I am curious to see the final product though.

I'm fairly surprised that Ford has deemed necessary to have their "DM me your VIN" bot cruise these forums, I'd say there's about zero chance Billstein is going to monitor them.

True however especially in this case Ford gave Bilstein an opportunity to promote their brand recognition probably more than any other option on the Bronco. They employed a visual factor of seeing the shocks through the front bumper. We expected a more rugged suspension. And a few years later we find the lower trim levels nave a more robust suspension.

Anybody know if this is 21/22 models only? I haven't seen any so far, at least that I've noticed.
I have 2021 Badlands and had one replaced (passenger side rear) and now my driver side rear leaking. Scheduled for July 9th for service. Under warranty replaced first one but gave me crap saying wouldn’t do it again. Will see about that.

I get what you're saying, but when Ford goes to any OEM and says, build us a whatever (shock, MIC top, horrible paper cone speakers, etc) that meets these specifications and costs less than this amount of money, this is what we get.

Billstein makes many suspension products, and some of them don't even fall apart when exposed to Northern climates! :curse:
