New Parts from SFR!

We've been working on all sorts of things recently, and we've got a huge announcement coming soon, but for now we've got a few smaller goodies for you guys.

We announced our Crash Bar Delete brackets a while back, and got a great initial response on them. They take a lot less labor to install than other options, and give you a more solid, clean end result. Best part is they are a whole lot cheaper too!

Next up we've got our new Intercooler mounting brackets. For those of you who have the plastic bumper with the big tow loops you'll know that most bumper installs require cutting those off, and even on the other models the big brackets hanging down can be pretty ugly once you upgrade your skid plates. These replace that whole bracket with something a little simpler to just do the job you need em to do.

Last for today are our new guard plates for the rear lower control arm brackets. These simple, inexpensive plates just bolt onto the side of the frame and provide a ramp to drag up and over rocks and ledges so you're not constantly bashing up those link arm brackets.

Here's a pic of the stock bracket and a pic of our bracket installed along with the crash bar deletes and our front skid. Steel bumper equipped broncos don't have the tow ring, but the rest is there.

Your bumpers look pretty tight and simple. Also aren’t stupid expensive. I like the <50 lbs weight for the front. Just curious what the tube cross-section is? Don’t want or need a ridiculously heavy tube just curious. Also hoping the recovery points/mounts have been engineered a bit to take healthy loads.

There isn't any tube at all in our bumpers, but if you mean the plate thickness, most of the body is 1/8". It's thicker in a few places where it needs to be, and the tow points are multiple layers of 1/4" laminated together for a total of 3/4", and yes they are intended to be used. The weak point will be the bronco frame.

I have the StinkyFab Sledgehammer bumpers and I think I lost 30-40lbs compared to the mod bumpers.

Curious what you think about these? I like the lower weight and profile.

I have the full kit: sliders, bumpers and armor. I went out for the first time last weekend and whacked probably every piece (I don't think I've ever hit more things, including the beauty rings) and everything except the beauty rings looks fine (they on the other hand are worse for the wear).

It's very high clearance, and definitely lighter both in front and rear. I don't think you'll have an issue with the tow rings. The reason they're lighter is they're simply not as full as the mod bumpers, and don't have all the inner brackets.

Overall, if you want a stout set of high clearance bumpers, these would be a great option. I also get a lot of "Oh I like your bumpers/sliders". Especially the sliders, they just look like they fit the Bronco.
