Added the lower @Mountains2Metal cargo tray. That finishes out the rear. I unfortunately cannot use the lower cargo MOLLE due to having the ford slide out table. It raises the flooring and the mounting will not work with the different tie downs.

OEM Steel Bumper. DD SSC1 and SSC2

There was certainly some Nuance required for fitment. Using the Hitchpod wiring as a trigger, the SSC1s come on with reverse. The SSC2 is on an Aux switch - works as additional light for swapping boots at night, backing up, loading the bikes late, β€œyou got your high beams on”, etc. Love the setup overall
Today I learned there even is an OEM steel rear bumper. I assumed they all were plastic.

That’s how mine started out, I just got the transmission plate, which was the last one I really needed. My OBX was a 2 door, so I had the gas tank plate already. Sounds like you got a great deal on everything else.
Which one did you go with? I have all stock skids and every transmission skid I found had to work with whatever company's ifs skid too.

Which one did you go with? I have all stock skids and every transmission skid I found had to work with whatever company's ifs skid too.



When it's folded up does it lock in place?
it takes force to lower due to the shocks located on both sides. It will not fall down stowed in the up position

Installed Corsa Turndown exhaust. Definitely sound more aggressive and no drone while driving. The exhaust exits on the driver side now so it sounds a little louder for that reason too. It's not the loudest exhaust but I didn't want it to be too obnoxious, plus the dual tip just looks weird on a truck imo.

Do you think the attic tray or lower cargo tray is more practical?
That’s a tough call. I absolutely love the attic tray and how it uses an unused space to get all my recovery out of the way. To me it’s more practical for stuff I won’t use as often and don’t need access to on a more routine basis.

The lower tray is more practical for items you would or could use more often and it’s right there when you access the rear. So any camping equipment or gear, fishing, my mountain bike equipment and so on I can load up and it’s a quick access shelf to get more things up and off the flooring so that it’s clear for cooler, chairs, tent. Hammock or whatever.

I did the same and went with Aux 3 to trigger the isolater.

I don't have intention of using it to mount an air compressor. But the gain in discreet storage may be worth it. Have to see if DV8 extends a Black Friday sale.
