Did you have to get this programed by the dealer or did it work on install right away.
The only thing that the factory amp is powering the center channel in the front so we can take phone calls. Otherwise there is JL 5 channel and 4 channel amp powering the system. The sub is powered by the 5th channel and getting about 300 watts.

Ok so I guess I am still confused.. I will need to go to the dealer and have them use forscan? To be able to run the amp and sub ?

My understanding is that the dealers use Ford's programming software in their service bays. The techs follow a preprogrammed routine that they would normally use to install the JBL soundbar. The Forscan community has figured out the computer codes to change by comparing before/after oo the soundbar install and some trial and error.

So either find a Forscan buddy or pay the dealership to run the soundbar install program.

Thinking of getting the stealth box with the MoBridge Amp but have a fit question from some of you that have already installed this. I actually need an idea of the height of the cloth speaker grill (how much it protrudes up from the plastic trim piece). The reason for this is I have installed molle panels over my rear cargo area (see pic below). There is some clearance between the molle and trim so I am hoping its enough to where it doesn't interfere with each other. Thanks for any help!

So with the stealthbox do you absolutely have to make the speaker grill opening bigger? I thought I saw somewhere that someone didn’t do it and it was fine. I don’t like the cloth and also have a bad habit of moving on from cars in less than a year or two so I didn’t want to cut the side panel.

Any Feedback from those that have installed. I’m in the fence to order this week or not

I think if your going to sell the Bronco in a year or two your going to need to leave the Stealth Box in as its custom made to the Bronco. In the past I have pulled out my amps and subs when selling a car to add to my new one but that will not be the case with this, thus I think cutting the panel and adding the cloth isn't a show stopper for whoever buys the vehicle. If you do a private sell, most buying from you will look at that as a huge bonus (I know dealerships might frown on it but who wants to lose money dealing with them when you can sell it yourself for bigger bucks). The biggest problem I had with the Stealthbox was the tight fit and cutting it out a little larger probably helped to reduce that problem since it does create some breathing room for the sub. Thus, I think trying to avoid cutting it may make the tight fit worse for you. Finally, cutting the panel ended up being one of the easier parts of the install. Just don't drill out the holes in the wrong place like I did (and a few others here). I think they have since improved the instructions regarding that.

I’ll likely get another Bronco if I sell so I would take it with me because of the price tag. I’m on Bronco #6.

Did you take pics of the install. I haven’t seen any posts about folks drilling the holes wrong and would like to avoid that is possible.

Ok so seems I took for granted that one would be making the factory opening bigger. Seems this is incorrect and all a person would be doing is removing the factory grill and drilling holes for the larger grill. Is this assumption correct?
