I needed some shelving space in the back to maximize storage of my work equipment. Ended up purchasing the JCR Offroad Rear cargo basket... The installation was super easy, just mounts via a bracket over the existing top cap bolts. The shelf is super light but very sturdy. Had to add some rubberized material to the bottom due to stuff sliding around. Ended up using a yoga mat cut to size and adhered with 3m 77 spray.

Replaced the Big Bend Vinyl Fender Decals with the retro Bronco Script badging.
Wow, what a difference. So much better! Really do not understand why they didn't do this from factory. Decided to place the original Big Bend Vinyl decal on the rear window.

Dropped it off at the Ford dealer to address an oil leak under warranty (and have the rear defrosters fixed). Turned out to be the valve cover gasket.

Yesterday took 2 Jeeps on the Elephant Hill trail. It is in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. Very challenging trail, but one of the most scenic trails in the Moab area, and a lot of fun. It includes going through the Devil's pocket and some cool wind caves. A Taco went off the trail and he was waiting for a wrecker to get him out. He figures it will cost him about 2 thousand before he is done.

How close to empty was your fuel tank when you made it back to Moab? I was down in that area last year and was shocked at how close to empty I was just on a day run. Tanks are small on the two door units.

Did the Hart Point trail yesterday. It is on the plateau that overlooks the road into the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. First time on this trail (which is not in the Well's book) so it was exploring time. Went to several overlooks. It was more difficult than I expected, and narrow in spots, but not too hard. Bronco had no problems.

Great posts my friend, I know some of these trips you have posted are quite long as I am pretty familiar with the Moab area. Can you tell us if you use your spare fuel much or if most of them are done out and back on one tank?

I made it down and back and still had about 1/4 tank left. I have the 2.7 and the Ford Performance tune with 37" tires. On the highway at about 65 I get close to 20 mpg. Going down to Needles and doing the Hart trail, since it was slower and tougher I ended up at 16.5 for the entire trip. That still gives you almost 300 miles until empty. If I am going a long way, I do take it easy on the throttle to conserve. I have never needed to use the spare tank, but I am happy to have it. I think Ford has done an amazing job with the engine and transmission, my 6.1 Hemi Jeep, while a little faster and better sound, never got above 13 on the highway and about 8 on the trail. It was a 4 door, with a 24 gallon tank, but the range was no better.

Skyrider install, now that winter is over. Wow. Wish I would have done this sooner. The convenience is unmatched, no need to store the front panels, and I really have not noticed significant increase in wind noise, whether top is open or closed. Thanks @Bestop_Team! Install was super easy.

And, Frank needed some slight cosmetic changes. Heritage Spear and Bronco Script from @Underground Graphics. Thanks guys! Install was a breeze, and everyone loves the look.
