Not sure if this was a topic already. Anyone know what to use to fix interior scratches on the plastic? I tried a few amazon suggested scratch/plastic restorers. And a magic eraser. My next step was a heat gun. But wondering if there’s like a black liquid you can swirl into the plastic to get it back to looking new. Picture for context. Thank you!

I see you posted twice. Ill reply to this one. I havent seen anything yet that actually works other than paint. Im careful to an extent but personally Im not too worried since its an off road vehicle and not a luxury car. Maybe one day someone will find a quality product or if they get too rough Ill just paint them. They make some very good vinyl paint these days.

yea it uploaded twice I have no idea how to delete the other post yet. But I personally would feel that same way if those scratches I got were from actually enjoying the Bronco instead of transporting pvc pipe when I had a flood 😑 and had to temporarily fix the issue. I rushed and didn’t think about protecting it.

I guess it’s more of a mindset thing. I saw someone saying the 303 can help hide it so I may try that. Hopefully they do make something. I know I could paint I use to repair the plastics on my motorcycle a lot but was trying to avoid that.

I use 303 Aerospace on my fender flares/exterior plastics to restore them when they start looking like crap. It's not greasy, and I know lots of folks on B6G swear by it. You may want to give this a try - It may not 100% solve the issue, but it will likely improve it.

Ok! I have it in my cart now. My mirror was scuffed from another car when I was parked and that bothers me too. So hopefully this hides it as well.

Bronco and Maverick issue. Real shame. You can try heat in less conspicuous areas as it can make area a little glossy where heated. I lighter works well.

Yeah unfortunately the plastic interior will scratch if you sneeze on it. Don’t think there’s much you can do to make it completely go away. But stickerfab may have a vinyl to cover it if it bothers you.

I use this product . A damp cloth will wipe away the scuffs my door panels end up with.

You should check out stickerfab, they have great things to cover up and protect almost every area in the Bronco. Plus a lot of other aftermarket parts! Cause that ain't coming out sorry to tell you

This is what I've resorted to. Invariably, the stickers never cover exactly the spot I've scratched up, but they at least detract from it being so obvious because the rest of the interior panels are so plain. And if I get sick of the stickers I can always pull them off and get something else.

Yea I may place some of the fabstickers in places that can be a potential scratch risk. So I tried the 303. And nothing. I did a light sanding and then used a heat gun. It works but also can darken the spot. It’s less obvious now imo.

After 19 months and 12k miles i can't find scratches on interior surfaces like I hear about from many folks on B6g.
Are you hauling spools of barb wire or what.
My 2 smaller dogs are rowdy and ride with me a lot and I don't have any visible scratches.
I just don't understand it. But I'm just an old guy.
And the guys that whine about scratches in paint on door sills. Mine are pristine. Just don't drag your grubby clodhoppers on them.
Ok I'm done.
Have a good weekend.
