Anyone running these fog lights?

Wondering if anybody is running these and your thoughts on them? I really don’t see the need to dump $1200 on fog lights so thought maybe these would do the job at $400

Fog lights are the most useful, get good ones that are SAE/legal and adjust them properly…

If you want to use them on road you’ll need to prioritize SAE ones. When I started researching I didn’t realize most states (maybe all) only allow one fog light to be on per side as well. So the three light setups you commonly see on this site you can only use one on the street.

Yes the ones I posted/ asked about are sae I’m looking for people that actually have them to get their thoughts on them I have no need for the triple set up the other 2 per side would probably never get used ever

You could do that Diode Dynamics 6" Light Bar Fog Kit. Choose SAE Fogs for street legal fogs. It's only $399

Great info, thanks. Any options for yellow or amber replacements for the OEM, white fog lights ? Plastic bumper.

The Diode lights are amazing, I have the triple set, but I have SAE white and SAE yellow, depending on the weather, and my larger light is a off road combo pattern. I spend a while adjusting the SAE light correctly to my low beams, and its so much better visibility below and to the sides, especially in the woods.

This is what I think I’m gonna do (when there’s a sale) is it ok to mix an ss3 pro with two ssc2’s being that the ss3 will be used/on 99.9% of the time ?

White for normal conditions.
Yellow/Amber for bad weather.

White is used more often.

Baja Designs makes the highest quality kit. Diode Dynamics is less $$ and Made in the USA. Morimoto is a newer light to market and a bit expensive but very very bright.

Though I haven't installed them yet (weather), I have a capable bumper and have the 3 MAX SAE white and 3 MAX combo white on hand from 4X4 Truck. I choose white for the fogs because there has only been 1 day that yellow would have been an advantage while driving to the airport at 0-dark-30. When I lived in the central valley I only ran yellow as we had 3-4 months of Tule fog and you could barely see the hood of your car let alone the road at night.

A nice, full sun, mid-day view of the road...................
