This has been coined the Gunners Hatch. It is a feature of the 2 Door Modular Top…
Small enough to store in the back with the two front panels and quarter windows removed also…

Made a thread about this already so I don’t mean to keep beating up a dead horse but wanted to see if any HE is experiencing the same thing because this is driving me insane. Sometimes when on idle, I hear a clicking sound coming from behind the brake as if the Bronco is communicating with another Bronco via morse code. I noticed it 2 days after I picked up the Bronco and took it right back to the dealership where they had it for a week and finally called me back to say they sent the issue to ford and ford told them it’s a normal behavior for 2.3s. The crazy part is they had me drive 2 Broncos (4door no squatch big bend and a 2 door HE) from the lot and both were making similar noises. I took the Bronco again to a local brake shop and they said everything looked fine. The noise is only noticeable sometimes when I back up or when on idle but if I rev it up, it goes away completely. I think it’s related to the waste gate but I’m not 100% sure. Any help/feedback would be appreciated. This is a 2.3 auto engine

Just picked up my Heritage a couple days ago, azure metallic, 2 door, manual. 150 miles on it and already cracked the windshield 😭

Ugh. That sucks! With the Bronco, you have to be really aware of who is in front of you and keep your distance from any vehicle that looks capable of throwing rocks.

Thanks. I take it everything is just one big decal with clear vinyl in the center. I much prefer the badges to the decals, but I wonder if the UG stripes are really as easy to install as their video shows. OCD and crooked stripes are a bad combo.
I replaced my OEM stripes with the plain spear stripes from UG. The Ford stripes are a cheap plastic. The UG stripes are a high quality vinyl. Much better than OEM. I found a local graphics shop that did the install for me. I just don't have the experience with vinyl and was afraid to mess it up. They only charged me $130. Well worth it. I also bought the Ford OEM Bronco badge from them. Huge upgrade in my opinion.

Our ‘21 2.3 BB sounds exactly like that. I don’t think anything is wrong with yours, but I understand how it could be annoying.

Once you hear it, you can’t un-hear it, similar to the brake pedal clicking noise that several others have noticed.😄

Working on it. Bandwidth challenged at the moment apparently.

I bit the bullet and bought a top lift pro. Warm weather is quickly approaching and I've been looking at various ceiling winch options. My wife is too small to help me pop the top on and off. I have some friends and neighbors that will help but I don't want to keep bugging people every time we get a sunny day and I want to remove the top. Anyway..the original price for the 2 door pro was $999, while the 4 door was $950. Couldn't pay over a grand with shipping. Price for the 2 door dropped to $950 and today they sent a code for $150 off. For $799, I figured what the hell. More than what I could have done a ceiling winch for, but now I don't have to mess up my nice swirled ceiling I guess. I know it doesn't work perfectly with the mod top but the work around doesn't seem too bad. I'll get some cheap styrofoam blocks and see how she goes. If I change my mind down the road, I'm sure someone would want it and I could always get a portion of my money back. I'll post pics this spring when I get it working. Wish me luck.

Ah I appreciate your response I’m glad I’m not the only one. I traded in from an Audi which pretty much made zero sounds besides the engine running. With the Bronco, it’s a new noise every day so I’m always thinking something is about to break lol
