Has anyone done anything different than the standard light bar for the top access mounting points ? I'm trying to think of alternative that wouldn't be that big but still look good and provide some benefit on a 2023 badlands.
I already have the diode dynamic ss3 ditch lights on the a pillar, IAG trail markers on the cargo tie downs and oracle back lit grill emblems any suggestions.
Thanks

I know blu...something makes pod holders that bolt into you 2 light bar mounting spots but not sold on the looks.

My solution is go more power on the A pillar like XL80s or LP4s with around 9k lumens and max out your fog light areas and you should have about 20k lumens total which should be plenty of light.

Things mounted to roof tend to make wind noise. Buyer beware.

there are some cool light bars that tuck into the space between the bumper and the grill.
I have a WT with the capable bumper. This is what I added.

I have the M&R also. I can attest that it installed very easily (Aux 3) and puts out a TON of light right where you need it on the road. You can also get Yellow/White and Yellow only.

Besides noise, the over-the windshield light bars also reflect on the hood and create an odd shadow line right in front of the truck.

There is a company that makes a light pod that connects to the light bar location that looks pretty good. I cannot seem to find the link atm, but I also know there was a thread about them in the forum.

I strongly recommend checking out our friends over Blumak3D. They make a great solution if you are not looking for a full-light bar on the roof. This allows you to run a pair of squadrons on the roof racer/pro/sport for extra coverage while off-roading. We recommend zones 2 or 3 if you are looking for closer-range lighting and zones 4 and 5 if you which to increase your distance. Our lights carry a lifetime warranty and are uSERVICABLE meaning you can swap the pattern and color without voiding lifetime warranty. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions regarding our product, I can gladly assist you.

Subscribed. I like that M&R option but I have a plastic bumper. I may have to resort to some more powerful fogs for more down range lighting. Definitely don’t want a light bar.

Mines a bull bar from Amazon and a LED 300 watt equivalent, I modified a bracket to place it under the bar, instead of on time.

I won this Ironman light bar in a raffle at their place. Found some brackets on Amazon and wired it up. Wicked bright.

I'm still going to think about high mounted lights because I'm in the "excess is best" camp.

We have some really cool options that allow you to customize your setup to pretty much anything you can think to do.
Our Cross Mount allows you to add any combination of any light pods you want to it, and we also have a patented plug-and-play harness system, including a hidden roof mount light harness, that makes install as clean and easy as possible.

I'll add some links to some of our YouTube videos and product listings, so you can take a look at some of the options. That said, I can customize any of these setups to your personal preferences, so please feel free to call or text me if I can assist with anything. My direct line is (317) 934-6778.

I hope to get the opportunity to help you with this!

Thanks!
