What is interesting here is that they are designating it as a safety recall.
When my window was rattling, I stopped and pulled it off the rest of the way and drove to the dealer.
The lady at the service desk, said I should not have pulled it off myself because
Ford may not recognize it as a warranty item since I took it off the handles
where it was barely attached.
Apparently, I was supposed to drive 10 miles to the dealer with a window hanging on with some dripping adhesive.
I am glad another gentleman came over, took pictures and said he will send it in
recommending that it be covered by warranty.
That was only one week after I had bought the vehicle.
Yeah that’s ridiculous. I would have pulled it off also. Some service advisors are just very clueless unfortunately.

@Lowcountry Bronco here is that information you were looking for I believe.

Thanks for this!

So effective dates for this are November 6th - December 6th, so only '23s for now; are there any '24 deliveries that are having issues? This doesn't affect me since I was August time frame but everyone please take a look at when they were built and see if they are part of this or not!

I wouldn't pay attention to the build dates listed, they are rarely correct for some reason it seems.

Run you VIN here and it should let you know if you have the recall or not:

As long as it isn’t listed on the recall website, you’re all good.
Now I'm curious if a January blend stuck in production status would register on a recall list or get handled as a QA item to avoid the recall stigma...

I just emailed my dealer to find out. I suspect this is what we are seeing. Jan builds with Mod top are sitting and waiting to be reviewed or repaired. I don't think they would be part of recall because they haven't shipped and are still "in production".

Except Heritage’s are exempt from the recall. This is just the same shit, different day (year). Many of us were stuck in production last year for many weeks/months with no real answer as to why.
