I felt better about doing this not after Ford Performance said I couldn't, but when this link was published.

I'm glad @RagnarKon link made a video on installing the Ford performance winch, after seeing the Bronco build Ford mad I wanted to email Ford Performance back and ask why they told me it wouldn't fit. I had done the same modification @RagnarKon had done, also didn't have a die grinder and wish I would have invested in one.

Beside the little bit you will have to knock out under the bumper cover for the clevis bracket[the sides of the bracket extended higher the the top] here is a pic of the other work, to make it work. You will need to remove some of the bumper support bracket so the pin will set higher so the screw will line up, in the orange box.

I have the controller sitting on KR Offroad mount inside the engine bay with a remote extension running into my center console. Also used the warn solenoid to control the power with aux 2.

Almost 3 years of trying to get one, found the best one on a lot yesterday. I had to drive from Louisiana to Mississippi for price but wife is over the moon. Also almost could get the 3 year old out after first ride.

It looks like mine and yours are the last two HEs at Granger from the early reservations. Have you gotten any more updates yet? Mine has finally arrived, and I'll be picking it up next week.

Well it took a few days to get a response back but this is the latest update from Granger. get basically nothing from ford still.

"I am seeing that your vehicle did leave the plant and is awaiting at the ramp to get picked up.
It is still stating that it is pending update, so at this time I am not seeing anymore updates.
Thank you"


i honestly don't' know what to make of that update.

Well it took a few days to get a response back but this is the latest update from Granger. get basically nothing from ford still.

Dealerships know nothing and Ford knows nothing.. Plausible deniability

No… not scheduled. Maybe they are cancelling the last few orders.

If they are done with the Heritage they had better put square fenders on something else or us 2 door guys are gonna be in trouble down the road. Can you imagine getting into a fender bender 5 years from now and there's only a few hundred of them out there?

Who knows, once they finish out what they have scheduled they could jump to whatever the next "special" is going to be ... either the infamous Oates edition or start offering up body colored mod tops. But yeah ... us two door HE's need to be careful out there!

I doubt they're cancelling anything, they're supposed to be scheduling this week so maybe they're wiping the slate clean knowing they got them all. I'd give Ford a call or chat to see what your status is just in case.
