  1. Heritage Build

Dealership had this part on hand. I was double the price last year and triple before that. This is a great deal here: https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-1821-B
  2. Heritage Build

Well the Bronco is gone. It fell to the War of the Littles. I was amazed at the trouble one damn growth spurt would cause. Also, one of the two close off-road parks closing didn’t help either. The idea of always having to travel to do any type of wheeling was not fondly thought of. I’ll probably...
  3. Heritage Build

Status Update: RCI pinch weld covers added. It does make it look better. I believe the next items will be a Bumpers. I am considering the following, any input would be great. Front bumper : 70% set on Icon winch bumper as it tucks up everthing but will have mount my fog lights. ADD Krawler...
  4. Heritage Build

The ARB skids are holding up well. However if you have the 2.3L you will need do some fiting to prevent a growning sound where they contact the frame(image below with circled areas). I called ARB USA and confirmed these were designed for both models but only tested for fit on the 2.7L which as...
  5. Heritage Build

RCI sliders and IAG shock mount skid plates installed. There was some minor shipping damaged to slider power coat and to avoid another 8 week wait we used some can coating on the spots. RCI is sending the pinch weld cover complementary for my trouble and understanding. Yes they are already dirty.
  6. Big Bend SAS or Heritage Edition, which is the better value?

I live on the gulf coast of Louisiana, the combination of cloth seats, and white top with added ceramic tint do very well in the heat. That white top has put work in this summer and is quieter than the MIC hard top. Also, you might look up a the issues people are having with some MIC hard tops...

    RCI Sliders finally shipped!!!
  8. Bestop wants to hear from YOU! What features would you like to see on our 6th gen products?

White or tan colors, ability to fold all the way back, and make it as easy to remove as the jeep JL version. Twill’s natural state is not black, why do you only offer one color? You can make it special order with specific windows for production. I would be calling with a deposit the minute you...
  9. 37s on a 2.3L?

Look at it this way, Upgrading to 37’s the right way is expensive. The right way meaning 100% functionality with no rubbing, or limitations that were not there in stock configuration. Then you have to address the elephant in the room which is maintenance for upgraded parts and additional wear on...
  10. Heritage Build

Glad I tired the OEM sliders with IAG steps. I don’t care for that step level, and ordered RCI sliders on Tuesday. I put the running boards back on and does not look as bad now while I wait 6-8 weeks. Yeah guys that quite a delay.
  11. Apex AirLynx "SBD"

I just watched the install video. This is ridiculously over-complicated when compared to an Antirock system. Is this product aimed at high-speed performance? I already hate airing up and down tires, and now you want me to air up and down a sway bar shock system. Nope.
  12. Heritage Build

After thought… I also removed that silly keypad from the driver door. Other than in the fuel door, I don’t know where I would put it. I am debating never putting it back on, we never use them.
  13. Heritage Build

Build update: 1” RC level kit added - The stance seems correct now with ever so slight rake. Modular bumper air dams removed - It looks better that way. 2nd steps added at request of my 3yr old “Where is my step Daddy?” - I bought as a set of 4 but never put second on until he got opinionated...
  14. Heritage Build

Can you take the three top panels off with it on?
  15. Heritage Build

Are those GoatFab or Expedition One?
  16. Heritage Build

My only problem with Goat Fab is I like the look of Expedition One's step slider and they are cheaper. Also, they mount in the same locations which would lead to me assuming both would be the same as far as strength. How do you like your rack? I am thinking of getting one to increase my...
  17. Heritage Build

Quick Update: Last week I was looking at my Bronco and the increased rake from the winch bothered me. So Monday I will have an RC 1" level kit installed. That introspective thought progressed to "What do I want my boys to remember?" I have no idea what I will do now, but I know we are doing and...
  18. Warranty Nightmare (Advice needed)

Um… have you ever done that? I have and can tell you it is not a simple ,quick, or cheap matter. I would advise the OP to just buy another soft top of his choice and move on.
  19. Rock Jock Antirock sway bar personal evaluation.

Why? Is rear gain minimal or should I just remove it as 21 and some 22’s don’t have one from factory?
  20. Rock Jock Antirock sway bar personal evaluation.

This exactly what I was looking for in comparison. My dilemma is I would possibly need both as my 4 door came with rear sway bar. 1,800 is one heck of a set back.
