You do realize that long arm suspension has some huge advantages over my set up.... Yes I have more clearance but you have more articulation.

You have to keep in mind though... the best 4x4 build is not necessarily the tallest.... So much more goes into it. I still have a long way to go to even come close to catching up to some of the builds on here....

My God.A Raptor is going to be exactly the same next to you. Have to admit I did not realize there would be that much difference... It is pretty significant. You ought to see it next to the non SAS Broncos....

Oh I know it does very well but doesn't change the fact of the lower control arm mount and the stupid location of the shock mounts on the axle. Its every bronco problem well except if you portal it and you get all that nice extra clearance.
No matter how much we lift these we will still have that low hanging fruit..... There is an engineering reason you see those that low on every vehicle made, It has to do with leverage for the shock and spring. So yes, going to have to armor that up.

IDK man! There aren't many that I would consider an even up trade for...yours definitely! I forget which trans you have AT or MT?
I have the AT but would have preferred the MT. The AT is nice... I like the 10 speeds, I think the peaky little 6 really needs it. I will have to get used to that on the trail. I am used to V8s that have really long torque curves.

Can (have?) any of you guys post the final height from ground to top of roof w/ these portals on? (and list size tires you have). I'm in Phoenix and need to maintain 'garageability' ... wondering about some more accurate measurements instead of adding some numbers together and making assumptions.

I clear into my garage with a couple inches to spare.... The header is at about 94 inch. I have the factory rack and KC light bar and I mounted my GRMS ghost antenna on the side of the light mount (upper passenger side).... That is my highest point and it is about roughly 92 inches.

Mine has additional lift, so I no longer can get it into my garage or most car washes. I measured at the light bar it was 7'4" I think? Will have to check again, but my garage has a low finished ceiling so I already know its a no go! Here's how barely it fit before the portals!
