and yes... to put the spare inside the seats would have to be down. I would have to remove the spare to use the seats.

I wanted to give an update for comparison. My scheduled build date/week was 1/22. The progress track actually updated to “In Production” on Friday 1/12. Unfortunately, no updates since that day. I received the dreaded “Unexpected delays” email yesterday, 2/1. I’ve noticed other people on this forum get theirs scheduled, built, and now shipped after my initial date. Any idea why? Are there any restrictions currently? Just curious if anyone had any insight.

it entered production status on December 18, which is a little early, but that was because there was a 1 week shutdown of the plant for the holidays In between.
My “blend“ date was 1/3/2024.
It remained in production status 10 days past the blend date.
it was “produced“ on the 5th, but not yet “built” which apparently are two different things at the Ford plant.
While some others in my build week, reached “built“ status on the 3rd, 4th or 5th.
no one knows why some delays happen at the plant, you just roll with it.
the status on the pizza tracker flipped to “built“on the 13th, 10 days past my blend date.
it sat at the factory for another 3 days, getting ready to ship.
it was loaded on a CSX rail car on the 16th.
left Wayne Michigan on the 18th
Arrived in Colorado on the 27th.

all of this to say, there may be nothing wrong, sometimes things take a bit longer.

Recently upgraded my sound system at Best Buy.. just replaced the preexisting speakers and it’s a night and day difference

Hi Jason,
can you elaborate on your choice of speakers, why did you pick these, and how is their response. I had read that a mid bass speakers would be a good fit if you are not adding an amp.
did the ones you use fit that? And which speakers did you swap where.

We had some decent weather today, so I took her out for a proper shakedown cruise to visit an archabbey. Some thoughts:

The base 7 speaker system isn't too bad once you get it dialed in. Adjusted the mids down, the bass and treble up a bit, and gave it more of a rear bias. Had to take off and remount one of the front kick panel grilles to get it to stop vibrating, though.

The 12 inch screen works really well with Android Auto. Love all the room for maps.

The Bronco interior really wasn't designed for short people, lol. I finally found a good position for comfort and visibility, but had to jack the seat up quite a bit to see the end of the hood over the dash (I'm only 5'7"). The wife commented that she feels like a kid sitting in the base passenger position.

The sideview mirrors being cowl-mounted give great visibility.

Not a big fan of the Goodyear tires that come with the Sasquatch package. Kind of a rough ride and noisy. I'm sure they're decent off road, but I don't feel they're meant for cruising. I may replace them with some KO2's, and put these on my Wrangler. That's really the only complaint I had today.

This thing gets tons of looks, too.

Check tire pressure, sometimes they come over 40 psi from the factory and if you go down a little they ride great in my opinion.

Yeah, I played around with it quite a bit today. Seems happiest between 36 - 39 PSI.

Agree, that’s about the sweet spot I found too.

Ford chat told me today my HE was "Produced" and has a delivery window of Feb 23-29 to my dealer. I remember reading somewhere in a thread that Ford considers "Produced" and "Built" to be a different status. Anyone know the difference? Tracker hasn't updated but I know it lags a bit so not worried about that.

Update: Forgot to mention all mods have popped and I have a tear tag.

I think “produced“ is constructed but has not passed final quality control inspections yet, “built” is physically constructed and has passed all inspections and is ready to ship.

With all the horror stories I've heard of o e the last few years, I'm Pretty happy with hiw smooth mine went. When I got scheduled for mid January I figured I'd get it in late March. Picked it up yesterday. It had to make it to Utah by rail.

I was also able to get X plan discount, it was around $1400 discount, took the sting off the price increase rolling from a 2023 to 2024
