Mine either. It was humming right along and now, nothing. Modules showing, tear tag showing, and still showing “in production”. Texted my dealer yesterday but he never got back with me. I’ve probably annoyed him to death. Luckily we’re friends outside of this. Haha.
Silly question but what's a tear tag? I see mine populated but not sure what it means
Not a silly question at all cuz I have no idea what the actual function of a tear tag i! Its one of the Bronco building “milestones” it seems.
That sounds about right to me. I would assume they need to assess where all the vehicles need to move, in order to maximize resources. They wouldn't load up a train/truck for one Bronco to move from MI to FL. Instead, they would look at all the Broncos in production that need to be moved to the SECONUS and maximize the number of Broncos on the train to FL, GA, MS, AL. They'd then need to figure out the trucking plan on getting all those Broncos from that centralized train depot to the individual dealerships. This part of logistics, with all the individual orders, is a complex dance where they are trying to maximize resources and reduce costs as much as possible. That may mean holding onto your particular vehicle until it is optimal to move it as part of a batch.
Should be built by your blend date provided by your dealer/ford and available on your window sticker. Then once it's built, there are numerous variables that will determine how long it takes to be delivered. That timeline has been all over the place the last couple of years. My particular dealership in Fayetteville, NC said that they've seen anywhere from 2-6 weeks from build complete to delivery...all dependent on when the vehicles can get on the train, where the delivery train depot is, and trucking availability. Your results may vary...but that's what I've learned from this message board and from my dealer.
My 2023 I ordered went to production on Aug 8th 2023 and was shipped Aug 13th. It arrived at my dealer in WA state on 8/30 and I took delivery 9/4.
