So does anyone make one that folds for a 2 door?
Not that I am aware of. I thought M2M made it and I was dead wrong.

I haven't seen one and I doubt they will. Make one. The 2 door market is small and not really a priority for these companies

Wow. No offer to make.it right. Not cool on their end. They obviously screwed up. I expected better from them
No kidding... I have bought just about there entire catalog for the 2 door and all I got back was a shoulder shrug.

Not to put them on blast, but there are other companies out there that make the same quality stuff.

I love that there aren’t many 2 doors but it stinks that accessories are limited.

Same here. That was pretty uninspiring. I was kinda looking at the same system, but I'm going to reconsider that now.

If it helps at all, they are the only ones I have seen to make the fold up rack. I did not have any problem with the quality, and the install was good, the customer service was prompt. But that's as far as I'll go to promote them.

Lack luster would be my summary.

Yeah, I'm not so interested in the fold-up feature. I'm sorta leaning more towards the JCR rear cargo rack since it mounts higher, but the M2M was in the running.

I have a couple of MTMs other items. But a passive shoulder shrug when someone has a problem is a big turn off for me.

JRC looks like a great option.

@Specalt did you actually mention in your email that on the website it says it has hydraulic shocks?? I just checked the 2-door product description and the hydraulic shock verbiage is still there.

Granted it doesn't say specifically that it has shocks, but the production description definitely suggests it. Makes me wonder if they are even aware or if they just assumed you were confused.

I don't know if @Specalt tried, but I would hope that if he asked to send it back for a refund due to misleading product description they would oblige. Might be a bad assumption though. And I don't know if @Specalt would even want to send it back—not like there is an alternative available that does fold up.

---

Anyway, I was going back and forth on the M2M shelf or the American Adventure Lab shelf. The problem is these companies build "cargo systems" around their products, and it isn't like you can mix and match as needed. Kinda have to be all-in on a single system if you intend on adding more than just a shelf..

Yes I did mention that there website says it has shocks. That's why I thought I was getting a folding shelf.

And you are correct it seems every company has an all in sort of deal.

As for sending it back I can push the issue probably get a refund but I'm still limited in my options. I'd just have to buy another system. All I'll get out of the deal is to disassemble everything. Send it back wait a month for a refund then start over. And the only thing I get the satisfaction in is not giving them my money. That is worth a bit, but in away it's not worth as much as others seeing this thread.

I hope to remain open with them. Not bash them too hard and they might work with me. I sent a reply to their shoulder shrug. Hopefully some thing more will come out of it.

Yeah that's pretty sad. Not very confidence inspiring.
