Damn, ok. Probably not a good idea to have it hanging off. Looks like the rack itself is listed for just 100 pounds, as well, so putting 300 static pounds up there while I'm sleeping is not a great idea. Oh well, was worth a shot.

XLs were attractive but wanted to keep the cost “minimal.”

The main reason I went with these or for the kids in my 5 foot wife.

Dropped it off today at Car Toys for this subwoofer offer and Focal's all the way around plus a new amp to boost it all.

Did some pointless cosmetic stuff - blacked out bucking Bronco on tailgate, script Bronco emblems in place of the unsightly OEM BD emblems, Underground graphics black matte hood decal, the finest Chinese rear door handle trays money can buy.

For anyone considering the Underground graphics decal, I would strongly advise against using the recommended dry install method unless you have done this before and are absolutely sure there will be no creases. Even minor mistakes result in slight and difficult to correct creases.

Last but not least, I could not bring myself to throw away the silver bucking Bronco so I did some free brand building for @Ford Motor Company on my wife's car. My DMs are openf they want to send me a check as a sign of appreciation.

Picked it up Friday, installed rear center console and front door cup holders. I have the rear door cup holders but to install requires removing the door skin and if I scratch that I will be killed by the wife. So for now that one is on hold.

A prudent decision indeed; marital homicide is not something to be trifled with so don't scratch that bronco skin! As an aside, love that Scout!

Installed @IAG Performance mud flap, hood struts and painted the front and rear tow hooks.

Worked on the mtx275 install I got the antenna and radio mounted. I just use the cig adapter to test it. I still have to wire it up to an up-fitter switch and figure out a mic mount solution. I am not too happy with the antenna wire work I may redo it.
