For those wondering on the wording of their warranty:

While I'm sure they will stand behind it for a year once it arrives to the customer, it does state "from date of purchase" which would technically be when everyone paid in full (required for pre-order)

Wow, I can’t believe this is still going on. @ADV Fiberglass should be embarrassed.

FYI, I know that the OEM hardtop has a lot of complaints, but I bought one lightly used from a guy on this forum back in April, and I couldn’t be happier with it. No issues with it whatsoever. It might be worth considering if you can find a good deal, instead of continuing to wait on ADV.

I wonder if the fellas at @ADV Fiberglass think they're gonna be cute and stay silent then BOOM big surprise everyone's is shipped!! Hooray!

If so, they should reconsider. They should be on this forum answering questions and giving actual detail. This isn't Instagram, it's a forum dedicated to nothing but Bronco and accessories. This isn't the right spot to hit people with quick non-answers and fancy infomercial videos and that be sufficient. Especially considering how overdue these tops are for those who ordered already.

They should be on this site daily giving updates. Go into actual detail, show some pictures taken with a smartphone right then and there, be transparent about whatever struggle is going on. Show the people what the struggle is.

Going radio silent is the worst thing to do at this point. It totally takes the narrative out of @ADV Fiberglass hands and all that's left is speculation from members.

Absolutely awful and backwards way of customer service that I would never recommend any company ever attempt.

That is a very well thought out and phrased post.
Unfortunately , the cards have Been delt and we are at their mercy.
Unless you cancel and get your money back. And that dosent work for me. I th I nk there top is exactly what I need.
Sooo I wait and wait in misery in the cone of silence.

As much as I agree with what you're saying, and would LOVE more transparency from @ADV Fiberglass, if the past several months have taught me anything, it's that that is NEVER going to happen. (In their defense, for the first few months of this debacle, they seemed to be pretty forthcoming, but the past several months have seemed like the most covert operation ever).

When all you hear is "it's no big deal. Don't worry about it", guess what?
It's a BIG deal and you should worry about it.

Like others have said, I feel kinda' caught in the limbo of letting them keep my money and hoping for the best, or asking for a refund and going to the back of the line elsewhere.
(I think they are counting on this to keep buyers on the line as well. If Anderson had a 30 day turnaround right now, @ADV Fiberglass would be in big trouble).

Also, because I don't think we will ever get real answers as to what caused these delays and what exactly the quality issues entailed, I feel like I'm always going to be waiting for the other (defective) shoe to drop even after I get the thing.

And finally, for the love of Dog, how have we STILL not seen one byte of evidence the sound-deadening/headliner even exists???
