Does anyone know if there is a trim piece that will fit the bottom side while leaving the tube step installed? I see a couple of holes, which I assume are for different steps.

Ford has a piece of plastic trail armor to cover the rocker panels that works fantastic at covering the pinch weld holes and protecting against dirt/rocks. You take the steps off quickly, stick it on, and then put the steps back on.

Another thing you can do is raise the running boards by adding some spacers and it covers the pinch weld better. I went this route and looks good. Still plenty of foot room and the running board sits in a better spot in my opinion. Real world tested by my 4’11” partner and she got in no problem with them raised.

Question for my build week bros and sis's...
Loving my wildtrak - better than I had hoped for in every way. But there are some strange things I've run across.
1. I get a 'keep hands on the wheel' message a little too often for my liking. If it didn't attenuate the music, I probably wouldn't care. But it seems to have no idea that my hands are on the steering wheel on any straight roads. Any way to dial that back or turn that warning off?
2. I was traveling to work in a massive downpour last week. While on the last stretch of 3 miles on highway, I got a 'crash detection' screen pop-up. The vehicle did not slam on the brakes or do anything but post the little red graphic and then dropped it out of the way. There may have been a few beeps through the audio system. Regardless, if my wife were driving it, she would have flipped out. Anyone have something similar to that happen?
3. I love the way the headlights slowly increase their brightness on auto-dim headlight setting. But I've noticed that it will not go to auto brights a lot when I'm driving rural roads. I don't know if the relectors on the mailboxes are tripping it out or what. Anyone seeing this?

I'm hesitant to ask a Ford shop to look at it. I love driving this Bronco too much to let them mess with it for more than a day. If I can tweak it in settings, I will. Thoughts?

Has anyone had any issues with their infotainment system? Mine completely shut off 4 hours into a 7.5 hour road trip.

Mine flipped out and turned off on day 7. Turned out to be more than just the screen though. Going on 3 weeks in the shop.

My friend has a ‘22 black diamond with Mid package and hers shuts off probably once a month, no reason…it just decides to turn off. It comes back on re-start. Dealer shrugs it off.

I have read more than a few comments on this board about glitchy head units but it seems to be spotty though and not a real common widespread issue.

I had the same issue a couple of times now too. Sometimes it will reset itself and others I have to shut off the car and restart to get it to "reboot". I originally thought it had something to do with the apple carplay but then it started happening randomly after getting gas and driving away before it has time to boot. I wonder if a system update would fix things?

Sounds like a warranty issue. I wonder if it’s the APIM or the whole hook up. The Edge I traded in, Ford had had to replace the APIM

Still in delivery hell. Talked to marketing yesterday and was realeased from production to ship and is waiting for a truck to load me on

The last I heard, Detroit teamsters are standing with UAW workers and are refusing to deliver vehicles from the affected plants. I hope this changes soon. Both dealerships I’ve talked to lately say that it’s been ages since they got one in. Mine was the second to last shipment that they got.

I have had issues. Sometimes takes long time for it to work. This mostly happens when starting up the Bronco
