Couple months back I purchased a light bar (just under $400) for my yet to arrive Bronco from F-150LEDs.com that turned out to be a big expensive mistake.
Long story short, when I finally got my Bronco (couple weeks ago) I tried putting the light bar on. I didn't get very far cuz the the brackets that hold the light bar up that are supposed to fit underneath the accessory ready plastic pieces over the front of the windshield are far from flush when the plastic cover is put back in place over the bracket.
Even the installation video when he puts it on clearly shows it's not flush when you take a closer look.

I've been searching, does anyone know of a decent Bronco light bar that won't break the bank that actually fits like it's supposed to?
Thanks.

IF you actually need a good light bar for off-road usage; sorry, they aren’t cheap man.

Most good ones with a quality array and good wiring and brackets from Baja Designs, Rigid, KC, Diode Dynamics, etc are going to be at least $1200.

IF just going for a “look”, Amazon or Rough Country should have you covered somehow with some lesser lights and wiring.

You say light bar... are you actually thinking of the bar type or individual lights on a mounting bar?

FYI, both come with wind / whistle noise.

Plan to get a wind diffuser to reduce the noise and door trim to stop the whistle.

This is all lower bumper mounted:

Here is a photo of just two Baja Designs squadron pros in the driving combo light pattern in a black night. No headlights. They’re about 400 bucks:

Here is a Baja Designs s8 20 inch bar in spot, same place, it’s about 580 bucks. I'm about 80% sure this is without headlights as well:

Here are all three together. No headlights, with a set of squadron pros on the a pillar at 30 degrees:

All this to say @Baja Designs is amazing, this is all with the headlights totally off. I could easily blow around in the deserts of Texas and it looks like daytime for a very long distance, and that's off to the sides about parallel with the mirror too.

You don't necessarily need a light bar. If you like the look, different chat. If you just want light, two squadron pros would be enough for 80% of drivers. I wish my s8 was in a driving combo, but that's on me, not the folks at Baja because I ordered it that way. If the wanted to send me different lenses though I wouldn't be mad.

If you want something quality you have to spend money. We're not fans of the cheap bars.

You can do a few things

Diode Dynamics Crosslink Kit. Starts at $1,699.95 though: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/diode-...-crosslink-lightbar-kit-for-2021-ford-bronco/

Baja Design Roof Kits. Starts at $1,606.95 though: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-designs-roof-light-bar-kit-for-2021-ford-bronco/

Rigid Industries. You'll need two parts

Mount: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/rigid-industries-roof-line-sr-mounting-kit/

SR Light (40", which is around $1100): https://www.4x4truckleds.com/led-light-bars/rigid-industries/sr-series-pro/

So you're still spending about $1300 or so for a light bar setup.

I don't recommend these cheap light bars you see for a few hundred bucks. They are cheap for a reason. Fitment issues, poor quality overseas light bars, moisture in the lights, etc... just not good.

Another option you may want to consider is a bumper mounted light bar. No wind noise and a little more low-profile. This is my setup, from Baja Designs. It's amazing!

Just my opinion but a really good set of A Pillar lights is enough plus your bumper lights/fogs. Then you don't have to deal with the whistling and noise. I would start with this then add a bar if you want. Baja or Diode. Can't get much brighter and better then some LP4s or Diode Max.

Funny thing is that my A pillar lights made horrible whistling until I relocated them. They are now on some mounts that raised them up and no longer whistle.

And yes, mine are poser lights, my A pillar lights are surprisingly bright though.

Yah I have the rigid 360 4 inch lights and they are good. Went dual with Rigid bracket and it made a whistle. Went back to single. Thinking of LP4s in future with maybe fast intentions bracket. Rigid 3k lumens each LP4s 7k+ each. I think a lightbar is awesome but just can't deal with the noise so staying away. Already have 6 bajas in bumper so good light.

Well if you really want to go cheap...

LED Light Bar Nilight 42Inch 240W...

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019SVJX40

And

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C3LRKC53

I don't think that you will find a 40" light bar for less, but I haven't tested it out. Still wiring it up.
Thanks for that, it's not that I want to go cheap. It's just I already wasted nearly $400 on a light bar that I thought would work out. If you do the price range you mentioned or "out of the ballpark" price range of something like from KC. I saw those at Amazon, But I was just wondering if build quality wasn't up to the task- I'll take a closer look cuz I'm leaning toward it now. Thanks brother 👍

Thats good advice, One of my favorite sayings "you get what you pay for". If I didn't follow my own favorite sayings, I'd be a hypocrite. Yeah those are expensive light kits, then again, they're also pretty damn good looking. I think my baby is worth it. I might have to wait a bit though, being a Ford worker, good chance we'll be going on strike pretty soon.
Thanks brother 👍
