Oh yeah... if you placed an order this year and you never had a reservation/order before this year, you will not have any private offers. The private offers are only for those who were carried over from 2020-2022 model years.
So maybe more confused now. Since I do have a private offer. From what I am reading, that is separate from the other price protection jumps. So should I still get an additional $1250 on top of the private offer to cover the increase from 25 May when I placed the order until now?

Yeah so your situation breaks my flowchart.

What was your original reservation for?? 2-door Badlands? And do you have a window sticker yet? If so what's the invoice date on the sticker?

I will give them a call. From what I am reading here, I don’t expect to have that? My order was placed on 25 May 23, so just a few months back and I think after any private offer, but I will check. Thanks!
Is your order on May 25, 2023 related to the 2021 reservation or a separate one? I suppose if separate and you abandoned the 2021 reservation, the offer may not stick.

My old original reservation was also for a 2 door Badlands but abandoned that and never place and order back in 2021. Just place an order for a 2 Door Badlands on 25 May in production now and yes I have a window sticker with invoice date of 8/15/23.

I see your point, not really clear on what the private offer applies to? Talking to Ford customer service just now, they seem to think it is meant to apply to this order and address the price difference on this order? I sent the cert number to the dealer so ultimately I guess it is up to them? Customer service was clear that anything to do with the private offer is with the dealer.

I have an order placed Dec of 21 for a Badlands. It is now built and just waiting at railyard in AZ for delivery to dealer. The dealer and Ford both say they see no price protection or private offers. Has anyone else had this? What was the resolution? The only change I made was removing SAS when they said I had to or would not get it in 2023.

There is a bunch of reasons why you may not have a certificate. The two most common reasons:
  • Your details changed since you placed a reservation. Moved during the past few year, got married and last name changed, etc.
  • Your dealer did not complete COVP on your order.

I had read about the change of info just in case they had not updated my address from the last truck, I purchased - Nothing there.
They made a copy of my drivers license when I placed the order. Salesman said they need that for Ford to prove I was a real person ordering.

Well... fortunately you've found the place. Jump back to Page 1.

Unfortunately, there is no publicly available source for this information directly from Ford. The information can be retrieved through the dealer, but we as customers cannot see it.
Every time there was a price increase, a dealer on here would post the actual Ford info. Just have to look for the individual threads which at this point is time consuming. Has the details of what the PP entails.

One of the many examples is here:

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...ion-for-orders-before-3-15.68521/post-1841933

Also, many other documents posted on here such as this one:

Do you know where I can find this price protection information online? My order is in production and the window sticker is $1250 over the price on my order form. Base price increase $750, Sasquatch Package increase $400 and Destination increase $100. My dealer is saying they won't know anything until the vehicle arrives. I just want to be fully prepared ahead of time about this. Thanks!
Based on your numbers, looks like you got hit with the 7-26-23 increase. As mentioned above, most always a dealer posts the actual Ford info which explains that the order is price protected. Your increase date I can't find though (too many threads) other than what RagnarKon posted. It is basically the same each time other than the dates so you can reference the one above. If you really need the actual Ford letter, contact one of the dealers privately and they can possibly send it to you. The Retail PP is nothing new though so the dealer should have no issue unless they are playing games.. Ford's been doing it that way for countless years. The other PP you hear about with certificates and looking up $$ amounts is a completely different program to help people that have been waiting a long time.

Here are the increases from that date:

Giant Thank you for putting this together @RagnarKon $2350 off in-addition to Z-Plan pricing took quite a bit of the pain out of this purchase. Dealer said they hadn't seen someone bring up the certificate in quite a while and they've been moving quite a few Broncos in the last couple months.

Yes the numbers from that link match the difference on my order and window sticker for base price and sas. Also another $100 for destination that I did not see noted at the link above.

On Monday when I went to pickup my 4dr Outer Banks, I had a $2,595 private offer. I had never inquired to the dealer or Ford about it because I see no reason why I got it.

Ordered 3/27/23 and included leather seats at the time of order.

Never made any changes

Invoice date of 7/14/23

I didn’t question it at all. With A plan and the private offer I ended up at $52k + tax on a $60k MSRP Bronco. 🙌

Yesterday, my dealer told me these non 2022-2023 mode transition private offers are not being honored anymore but he might be BSing.

I’m still confused about why/how I got the private offer. In the flow chart I see no reason to get it but I basically ended up with a Column B result.

I never asked or inquired to anyone about one. I’m just grateful that the dealer found and applied it.
