I don't want to start a new thread so I will ask here...

Can we drive with the rear glass open on the hard top?

Some vehicles will shatter the rear glass if you do this.

Got the Bronco back from the dealer after they flashed the Gateway module. They are leaving the ticket open until I call them back after a few days of driving.

Got the new bumper on last week, new fog lights as well (base- didn't have fogs...) Grab handles a few nights ago, and the new winch showed up today. I'll get it installed tonight...

I replaced the stock rear speaker pods with SSV Works 6.5" pods. I installed Rockford Fosgate R165X3 6.5" speakers in them and I am very happy with the sound. The rear view is slightly less but it's not anything that I can tell a difference of when driving or backing up.

Being a 2DR, the roll bar speaker angle for the tweeter is better positioned for sound and with larger 3way component speakers back there, I now have a well balanced sound stage.

For the install, I also positioned the component tweeters vertically at 12:00 and not sideways at 3:00 as well. This helps create an even more direct and even sound towards the front.

Before the SSV swap, the fronts were very bright with MB Quart titanium tweeters and 4" Rockford Fosgate 4" 2 way component rears. Now it is very well balanced with the 6.5" 3ways. For me, I like sharp highs in the front per the MB Quart tweeters and the Fosgate rears have a nice silk tweeter for a more rounder sound balance.

This is really one of the best sound upgrades I have done so far and I had replaced all stock speakers in the BOO system. I mean B&O earlier. 4" to 6.5" rear pods and component speakers made a HUGH difference in sound.

Sorry Mabett, I did not want to block the speakers with the grill on your 6.5" pods and I wanted to use a speaker with a tweeter that is not flush with the speaker body/cover.

I would say at your own risk.
I accidentally left mine open once, made it about 5 miles down the road and got up to at least 55 or so with no issue.

But at the same time a few people have reportedly had there rear glass shatter with no clue as to why, or from barely hitting a tent pole.

Few days ago, got the bumper on, spot cubes wired up to an AUX, reverse lights and wired up the license plate relocation kit.

I know it's been said a million times, I appreciate Ford rewiring tings, but adding some length to the wires under the glove box, and extending the rear wire to the actual rear of the vehicle would have made everything so much easier. I also have the Ford security enclosure installed that needed to be removed first. Huge pain in the ass, hopefully last time that needs to be done.

One or more of the 4 sensors don't work properly. Taken the bumper off 3 times to check the connection and placement. Unplugged them all and reseated them, didn't help. Keep getting errors, finally just turned them off.

@fallguy : Understand your bumper issue. I have not track down my rear park sensors either after I had the Warn Bumper. Its been a minute lol. Like you, they are off.

Love the 68. Looking good. I'll see your Black and Raise you a Kona Blue

These IAG interior lights have been sitting in my garage since February. Lol. Finally installed them today. Took 3-4 hours and they are now working great after some troubleshooting that was my fault.
