I had all the same issues on my set of lights.
Just a bit over one year, I had to replace the driver's side with great support from Oracle, but now the passenger side vertical light is out. I really like the form factor. I don't like them when they stop working. I will go back to OEM...
I've installed the spare delete panel that I posted earlier and I am very happy with the results. I don't have any more rattles and I still have spare fuel. I do not take pics when I install parts, but I have a few "after pics" to share.
The thickness of the metal was good and the powder...
I appreciate your warning and I hear you, but I am not worried as the bronco is much higher. I have not seen anyone hit the tailgate that high yet. Of course there are big trucks and vans that can.
Both my '65 Mustang fastback and '67 Camero have the same rear gas fillers and they were never...
@TruckCamper
Nice, you made your own setup. Thank you for sharing. I am happy to find a delete plate that may work for me.
I would like to use the 3 gallon rotopax as you suggest, but I already have the 2 gallon fuel and a 2 gallon water ones. I will be mounting 4, 2 gallon rotopax...
To secure the spare, I plan to use a SpeedStrap 2" 3-point tie down with swivel hooks. The swivel hooks will be anchored through the tray. I know the 2" strap is a bit overkill and I can use 1.5", but I like to over build when it comes to safety inside the bronco.
It's time for me to loose some weight.
I have not seen anyone using this spare delete mount yet. I've ordered one and I should receive it in about a week.
At some time, I'm planning to remove the traction boards and mount 2, 2 gal. gas rotopax units. My Badlands is a 2 door and it's nice to...
I have read many times on 6G that a lot of people say that changing the kick panel speakers really do not make a difference. I am glad you found your balance after all that work.
Sound is different for all and I am not one to argue with them but I agree with you. You need to pair and match...
The closest distance between them is 26.5"/67.31cm at the points positioned at the 3 o'clock left pod to 9 o'clock right pod, just above the inward angles.
The SSV pods are larger than the stock 4" ones. The pic shows the rear window hinge is now at the inside edge of the pod. I don't have any stock pics to compare them.
The light pod on the roof is from Mabett. He sales the item via Amazon <- link. The installation is simple only requiring a...
Just an FYI. Both 2022 and 2023 are missing E7 Velocity Blue. Happily it came back in 2024 ;) I do see that you have a note section where you can list your missing color.
Hello WickedG6, I'd like to order but the only thing holding me back is the unknown shipping costs to California. (no I have not checked on it but hate shipping costs) Let me know if there are enough orders to reduce or eliminate shipping to San Francisco. Thank you.
Be warned. I have also dropped small items a few times (nut and bolts) in the rear compartment which was no fun when working on project. Slows you down some. At the moment I keep a moving blanket over the hole when doing things. I plan to mill out the bottom of the access panel a little and...
I put the rear seats in storage and I had ordered and connected new seat belt receivers instead of removing them from the seats. I want to keep the OEM seats 100% together and easy to replace.
I installed a GooseGear platform which I do like, but some of the mounting holes on the seat platforms...
I have the same exact sediments as TacosTuesday. I am very happy with the SSVs on my 2dr. No issues at all during my install or after. I used Rockford Fosgate R165X3 component speakers and I clocked the tweeters at the 12:00 position.
For the OP. Here is a pic of the SSVs in a 2DR. I used Rockford Fosgate 6.5 R165X3 . It's a night and day difference. If you look closely, you can see that I clocked the speakers at 12:00 position so the component tweeters were vertical for an equal sound stage. It is one of the best...
I replaced the stock rear speaker pods with SSV Works 6.5" pods. I installed Rockford Fosgate R165X3 6.5" speakers in them and I am very happy with the sound. The rear view is slightly less but it's not anything that I can tell a difference of when driving or backing up.
Being a 2DR, the roll...
I have an early made 2DR Goose Gear seat delete kit and I have a 2022 bronco built in June-July. One mounting hole on each seat delete panel did not line up correctly to the body. I did not drill any new holes and I left the old holes open. The panels are still secured with other mounts, it's...
I was informed a long time back by an old WWII veteran that the word Jeep came from the vehicle's letter designation in the military. He had an authentic Ford F script GPW too that he kept after the war. He said that when you went to the motor pool, you requested vehicles by their letter...
