@ADV Fiberglass - It’s been a couple weeks since we’ve heard from you. Can you shed anymore updates on things please?

Many of us have spent thousands of dollars pre-ordering your hardtop and patiently (kinda) waiting. Do you have any news to share and/or comments on the headliner specifically? The tin foil hat conspiracies are running wild in this thread.

Thank you.

As we mentioned before, we are working through final assembly. As soon as our customers tops are finished, we will contact each and every one of you. We appreciate your patience!

Our last response for reference:

"We were unable to start final assembly till mid-late May because of the supply chain delays as of many of you know. We ramped up very quickly with the hope and intent to catch up on supplier delays but noticed some minor quality control issues during the final assembly process. We ramped down, solved all the issues (which mainly had to do with procedures/processes), and now are at a slower rate of final assembly to ensure the quality is consistent.

We were unable to start final assembly in the past because we did not have all necessary materials and because of that, we were unable to work through any potential final assembly kinks (quality control issues) before hand. We could have been shipping tops a month ago but they would not have been B quality (On a scale of 1-10, 10 being perfect, B would be 8). We made the executive decision to trash the un-passable parts and start the final assembly process again on those orders to ensure our customers receive the quality we are known for (A+). We know that the delays are less than ideal but the quality will be worth it. These QC/FA minor issues are nothing to worry about, this is simply us working through the initial stages of finally getting started on final assembly."

@ADV Fiberglass Can you PLEASE address the mysterious headliner/sound-deadening?
(Other than , "The video will be released when it's ready").
A photo, some details or explanation on why wee haven't seen it yet.
Anything...

We have had other content that is ahead of the headliner to record. We will record that soon.

I guess that means we at least 3 weeks away from the install video. Which means we at least 4 weeks from possible shipping news
Wonderful.

Say "We'll release the video when it's ready" without saying "We'll release the video when it's ready"...

Other content ahead of the headliner???? It's literally been the same content in all the videos, just in a different order to make it seem like a new video. There has been no "other content". There is definitely an issue with the headliner.

I think both of these can be true:

1) ADV is likely not going to answer questions exactly the way you want them to.
2) Their top, when finally released, will destroy the competition.
Haven’t seen any complaints from customers enjoying their AC tops 🤷🏾‍♂️ so i wouldn’t even worry about #2. ADV just needs to worry about getting their tops to market

Ive been watching this since ADV's initial development announcements and have always felt good about this company. I didn't really want to spend that much money... but after seeing the FORD OEM in person, looking at the competition, then seeing the ADV videos with the comparisons, and now knowing that the 3rd Party comparison in their video is that of the Anderson Composites... to me there is absolutely no comparison and ADV's appears to be amazing....

I called them up today, spoke to them and made the purchase. They told me that I can add the headliner later if I wanted and install myself. I wasn't ready to spend the extra ~$900 at this time.
Im sure going from my factory Soft Top to this will be a huge difference anyway.

They were VERY confident that even new orders will ship in November. Ive put my trust in them and Im comfortable with my decision. Thanks @ADV Fiberglass for the work that you've done so far to make these hard tops the best on the market.
