I think someone might have been nice when they were moving it around the lot last night.

Hopefully it doesn't get reset before shipping/delivery cause this could be fun to watch it on the map.

In other news though, the tracker shows built. No email though.

Just wanted to thank you as well for running the tracker for the thread.

i knew it was already built, but got the official email this morning.

with reference to my previous post...i can see on the ford pass app that mine was loaded onto a train and has been sitting there since this morning.

for point of reference for anyone else curious, i was told delivery ETA is second week of sept for a north TX based dealership i'm going through.

also the trend of the tracker going back to order confirmed once its shipped proves to be true.

I’m curious, how can you see it’s location on ford pass?? I have mine loaded in with VIN but it just says pending activation .

valid question lol.

tldr: i think i got super lucky, and someone didn't reset the request.

longer story: i added the VIN in the app as soon as i saw the modules pop.

was messing around with that activation button every now and then, cause at first it just outright fails, and i'm the curious type so i just wanted to see what it would do. i figured there had to be some sort of confirmation or handshake to complete the request. then the next day it actually let me send the request, and that's how i found out that it requires input on the screen in the truck to confirm the request.

figured that'd be the end of that and the request would be denied/reset next time they turn the truck on, but they confirmed the request instead.

@AKC and anyone else interested .... I drafted a quick sticker. My printer guy could do this as a white vinyl decal for my back window or tailgate, and cuss at me for all the weeding necessary. If your eyes will let you, the black becomes white vinyl and the white background is the color of your vehicle (or tinted glass) I'm no graphic designer so anyone wanting to take a stab at this should if they're interested.
