Hi, I took this photo the other night. that is all. Just wanted to share it. While I am here, does anyone recommend a black plastic trim cleaner/protector?

Cerakote makes a good product for the black trim plastics. Made my old 06 dodge look like it had new plastics.

Thanks, I'll try the CeraKote. I was just afraid of buying a "restorer" since the plastic is still new.

I would treat before you get any mud spattered. To wit, I have cleaned (scrubbed like hell) with the suggested Scrubbing Bubbles, which helps. But this Texas mud we have around here doesn't come off entirely and my flares are definitely stained/streaked in brown permanently. I think it would've worked better if I had coated first, although who knows. You can also take the flares off to do the treatment, just watch a video about how to get them off so you don't mess the holding pins up.

Try this stuff. It is crazy how well it works.
It's not like some eternally-lasting magic, but it will absolutely turn black trim black again.
I use an old microfiber and put it on the top of the bottle, turn upside down to get a dab of it on the rag, and rub in the product. Like 3 dabs do a whole flare.
I bought it in 2021 and still have some left.

Even if you just use it to get them black again and use a protectant to maintain, this stuff is crazy-good.

Use a pair of Nitrile gloves. It will stain your finger.
