My SWAG would be that the sensor hasn’t changed in MY23, but the ECU variance or sensitivity has been changed from previous MYs. I’d wonder if a tune would fix that and I’m curious what the dealership does if and when they reflash.
I just posted this on the other thread that is also dealing with the same issue. The dealership did the TSB flash for me today, didn't do the trick. They proceeded to TSB no. two, which I guess led them to orya sensor which might take a couple weeks to get. I left without the engine light on, but they said it will most likely return next cold start.🫤

Hello Injen. Any further thoughts / progress? This intake is still in the box and feeling lonely. In need of a plan.

Read my post above. You will have to go through this process if you have a 23 with 2.7 and want any upgrades that effect the CCV inlet. Injens CSI does! There are others that do not. I believe, K&N is one of them.🫤

Thanks. I did read it but was it solved and confirmed with this particular intake?

Mine has still not been solved for sure. They did the first TSB which is a flash to the computer system. Like I've stated earlier that flash is for a different code which I believe is what the dual catch can had caused. At this point I don't have the dual catch can hooked up. I'm thinking I probably could re-hook it up now that they've done that flash. The second code has been caused by this cold air intake. Hopefully when they install the new sensor that they ordered it will take care of that, but that's yet to be determined. Waiting on the part to come in. 🫤

We are still in the process of acquiring a 2023 MY Bronco 2.7L. Seems like they're a little harder to find in our area vs the previous model years. We'll keep everyone updated as soon as we start the testing process on the 2023.

This is directly from Ford. Get it to the R&D guys. I need to be on the payroll I'm doing more research on this than anybody, I believe. For all of the headache and back and forth and running around that I've been dealing with since I've had this installed, I should be on Injen's payroll!

I see, not yet qualified for the 23 model year.

Have a boxed CAI that's currently delaying other planned upgrades. I would like to utilize the Injen intake but definitely don't want to go through the motions if it's going to be troublesome. On the other hand, not a fan of initiating a return.

Is there anyone else here on 6G that has installed this intake on the '23 model year? Did you also encounter similar CEL problems as Geronimo is encountering? Thanks.

FYI, a number of vendors are advertising these as being '23 compatible.

CJ Pony Parts
ExtremeTerrain
Panda Motorworks @Caleb@PandaMotorworks

Do you have the 2.3 or 2.7 l? If you have the 2.3 I'm pretty sure you won't have this issue. If you have the 2.7 there's a chance one of these two codes will come up on your vehicle regardless. And if they do the dealership will perform the necessary fix at no charge. If you don't have any codes they normally won't perform them. If you install an aftermarket part there's a possibility they will charge you for the TSB's. I guess it depends on the dealership and how they want to handle it. So far I've been lucky with this dealership they are not charging me at least I don't believe so. He knows about the cold air intake but he said that shouldn't have affected this. 🫤

Update! Since they did the flash, my engine light has not come back on but he said that it might and it goes in this morning to have the CCV pressure sensor replaced. Pretty sure all will be good at that point. 🤞😎

Just installed mine on a 2023 tonight. Ran it briefly and will reply with further results.

Mine has been flashed and new CCV pressure valve installed. All is good. I believe I can now put dual catch can back on if I so decide.😎 Has been a pain though.

Ok, ran the rig 2023 2.7 Wildtrack moderately on VRTune 7 with 93 Oct., Injen intake, dual Catch cans. I am impressed. no codes!!! No engine light either. I will say I had a check engine light prior to installing the Injen and it was the catch can set up but after I cleaned out the cans, left neg batt. post open for 30 min, it went away and did not come back. It may just be a away I know to clean the cans for now??
