I will say what someone else said. Looking on their site, they have it listed to the 22. I am actually starting to believe that this error, coupled with the Mishimotto error, that testing on the 23 was not done, and it may be a sensor change.

EDIT: I just saw your post, and the post from Ford about the update and the issue with the 23's. Yes, I do believe that this may be the core of your problem now. Hopefully, somebody from Injen will chime in soon.
I believe so! Don't know how to get Ford to flash my truck, but when I get back home next week, I will try. Maybe Injen can figure out something.🤔

Well I had a tune and exhaust, so I already felt quick, I would say I can hear the turbos now....Also boost is higher.

For me speed is...well hard to judge because I have a GT500 that is very fast lol.
What 'Tune and Exhaust' are you running with?

We apologize for the issue that you’re experiencing with your 2.7L Bronco and our intake system. The crankcase DTC is a known issue with our R&D team and they are rapidly addressing the concern and finding a solution. Please note that this crankcase DTC will not affect the performance or reliability of your vehicle and you’re okay to drive the vehicle with the DTC illuminated, if you so choose.

In the meantime, can you please confirm any and all aftermarket parts installed on your Bronco, outside of suspension and/or exterior dress-up items? Specifically, we need to know of any tuners, catch can systems, exhausts, or any other modifications that bolt to the engine or are installed to increase the engine performance of your Bronco.

Once you respond with your modification list, we'll relay that information to our R&D to better help them find a solution. Also note that we will keep you updated as our team determines the cause of the issue and a solution.

Thank you for your continued support and for your patience. If I can help you with anything else in the meantime, please do not hesitate to ask.

The only thing is the Mishimoto catch can, which was originally "dual", but threw a different code , but also of the CCV side . I eliminated the CCV side and put a new stock CCV tube back on and the code has not come back. My mechanic also told me it wouldn't be a problem to drive, but at some point, the code needs to be dealt with . I hate looking at engine light so hopefully the come up with a fix soon. I am a believer that either the sensor for that system was changed for the 23 MY, or the ECU flash is a bit more sensitive on the 23's. If it is a different sensor, maybe could be switched out with a 22 sensor. 🤔 Hope I am kept in the loop. I sent Leathal Performance a heads up. That is who I purchased through. I also have your Dual Cat back exhaust on order. Hopefully we can get all this working properly. Thanks Jeff

So as far as we know, it seems like the problem has been narrowed down to the current model year (2023) 2.7L Bronco. We are currently working on acquiring the current model year for testing in order to see if the tuning window changed. We will definitely keep you, along with the rest of the Bronco community, in the loop on our findings.

Recommendation to those who have purchased the Injen CAI but have not yet installed it?
I think the best option if you have a MY2023 2.7L Bronco, would be to hold off on the installation till we know for certain what the CEL solution is. There seems to be no issues with the 2021 and 2022 models years so installing our kit should not be a problem. We have a few intakes installed in both the 2.3L and 2.7L engines that have been driven 3000+ miles with no CEL's so far.

Hope this helps and please let us know if you have any more questions. 👍

Just another FYI. Light didn't come on right after install. Came on first start up after it sat all night. Then we double checked everything and reset it using Forscan. Was fine rest of day, turned off several times, just like after install. Next morning, first start up, light came back on.😳

Thank you for the specific information on that. We'll keep that in mind when we get the test vehicle in our facility. (y)

"You can put the temp sensor in anyway, if it was a MAF sensor then yes the direction is important but all that goes there is a temperature probe to read intake air temps." This is a quote from my installer.🫤
The Bronco’s got a MAP system not a MAF.. so he’s correct. It’s the reason you can disconnect your blowoff recirc and not throw codes or create problems.

I just set up an appointment with the dealership for the 13th to have them flash for the TSB. My code is different than the TSB code, but I think affects the same system. I will have to pay for this because I have a different code, but he said they will do it for me. Don't know if it will work.🫤 Also checked with parts, he said he doesn't see any difference in part numbers for sensors in the 23 MY. This leads us to believe it is in the new programming, which 🤞 this TSB might take care of. Let me know if R&D thinks this a good approach. Couldn't get in till the 13th, so gives us a bit of time.🫤 Maybe after all of this, if get it figured out, the Co. Can throw in the exhaust system that I have on order with them.🤔😉

Has there been an update? They were suppose to have a 23 in last week. I have the dealership scheduled for pcm flash on 13th. Don't know if will help with this particular code. Was hoping R&D would figure this out first. This will cost me because code is different for this TSB than the code it's throwing. I think worth a shot at this point though.🫤

Wild thought: do you have the ProCal or maybe another piggy back tuner installed?

My SWAG would be that the sensor hasn’t changed in MY23, but the ECU variance or sensitivity has been changed from previous MYs. I’d wonder if a tune would fix that and I’m curious what the dealership does if and when they reflash.
