Our WT is finally on its way so stopped by the dealer today to talk pricing. By my calculations using the flow chart, I should be entitled to a discount of $6525 As follows:
$2925 Private Offer Cert#xxx
$1500+$750 ‘23 mid-year price protections on WT
$150 for mod bumper
$750 for MIC

Dealer agrees with most of it but insists Ford has ended the mid-year PP programs so I loose $1100 of those discounts so $5425. He couldn’t explain the math and which PP I lost when I challenged him.

Could be worse but would like to get a copy of the memo/communications from Ford to the dealers that may help reaffirm the PP is still available. Any help or links are appreciated.

Haven't posted in the forums yet but came across this thread and have so many questions!

My Bronco was built on June 26th and is currently stuck "to be shipped" wasteland. I have a 4dr BB Mid Package Hard top. I'm trying to figure out if any of the PP would apply to me here in Canada. Have a little bit of a unique path to ownership. The car was originally retail purchased by someone who gave up on the wait and took back their deposit. I just happened to be checking out a used one on the lot and was informed that someone canceled their order and I could take that order if I put down a deposit. I eventually agreed to it and signed a bill of sale. The original order was November 21st 2022. I picked up the order in Mid May. Window was 06/14/2023. I paid $2095 delivery, $52,465 base MSRP & $1695 for the hardtop.

I don't think i would be eligible for the private offer by following the guide however, would i be eligible for the PP? I would imagine the vehicle will have the PP applied given its age of order so the dealer is for sure getting those kick backs.

Any help is much appreciated!!

The dealer does not get any of the PP moneys if the person that ordered the Bronco does not purchase it. Since that was not you, no PP.

@BigHoof is 100% correct.

Price protection is tied to the original order holder's name or those in their immediate household. The reason why the window sticker lists the MSRP at the time the vehicle was produced is in case of situations like the one you encountered where the original order holder backs out of the purchase.

I'm looking for some help here as I've spent countless hours going round and round with my dealer, Ford customer service, COVP.......

  • I secured a reservation for a Wildtrak on July 14, 2020
  • My dealer converted my reservation to an order on October 6, 2022 for a 2DR HE MT
  • Order was confirmed by Ford on October 7, 2022.
  • Bronco was schedule for production January 19, 2023 and since then i've received more than a dozen date changes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
**UPDATE** My dealer called me back today. They've been working with the Regional Ford Rep and he was able to get me $3,600. Don't give up keep working with your dealer to get the money you deserve. BTW, I have no explanation of how this was calculated so can anyone tell me if this is correct?

Was the original reservation a 4 door Wildtrak? If so, the $3,600 (actually $3620) would be the price protection from when you reserved until ordering a 2023 in October of '22. You then need to get Price Protection from the October '22 order date until when the Bronco was invoiced. Use the chart based on your options to get a number to deduct from the current sticker that should get you back to what was on the DORA in Oct '22. So final price should work out to DORA from Oct '22 minus the $3620.

Original order was for a Wildtrak. I ordered in October 22 so I do have an additional $2,600 off MSRP. Total $6,245.

Thank you for the great writeup again. I have a question about the March 19th cutoff date in case someone could help.

I had originally reserved a Bronco before March 19th, but I wasn't a fan of that dealership so I tried switching my reservation on March 19th to a different dealership by contacting Ford support. However, it was too late in the day and they had already closed, so I created a new reservation on March 20th with the new dealership and later cancelled my first reservation.

Would my first reservation count as my "original" reservation, meaning I would get the Group A price protection? Or am I stuck with the Group B reservation because of what happened? Is this something that Ford support might be able to help with (in terms of getting the Group A price protection)?

Thanks in advance.

BE Careful!! I have a STORY that I hope everyone will read. We have had our Bronco ordered since 2022. We had to come into dealership and re-order, we made no changes. We have waited for 18 months for vehicle to come in.

Last week, our Bronco arrived to dealership but,, to find we could not buy due to recall. I asked our salesman specifically if he was sure our Bronco was affected and he said yes. It was not until last night our son looked up our Bronco on the Ford website and the Safety website to find it WAS NOT ON RECALL!! Notified our salesman this morning to check. It was not on the recall list along with 5 other Bronco's they received and had been holding on their lot for 2 weeks.

We went in today to purchase. They would not honor price protection from when we last placed our order and wanted us to pay full sticker price. I brought up the flowsheet and was told they were not going by this also. I was told Ford did not have any incentives. I was able to get the price down some but, not according to the flowsheet based on our original order date. The Manager whom we had spoken to originally was on vacation and I plan to contact Ford customer service myself along with a call next week to speak with manager at Ford dealership. Not a happy camper and they know they have you over a barrel and there is nothing you can do!!!

Call 571-831-5434 and tell them you want to speak with your Ford Regional Rep. I was not allowed to contact them directly but this prompted my dealer to call them.

Finally my turn.

I have $2820 in PCO
$4350 in price protections.

My Dora MSRP is $59865

Window sticker MSRP is $63,215

So if I’m using DORA MSRP, should I be deducting any price protection money from that? Or only my PCO.

Only the Private Offer comes off the DORA from last fall. The other deductions come off the current sticker to get you down to the fall DORA. Yours is off a little so you must of figured something wrong. If you now have the subwoofer instead of being deleted, that is an extra $250 cost. So you’d need to add that to the fall DORA before deducting the P.O.

Thank you that makes sense
So I’ll be at ~$57,823.80 ($1,300 below invoice) minus $2,820 since I originally had a Black diamond.

PSA—

On (or around) June 30th, 2023... Ford quietly increased the destination & delivery change by $100.

I missed it—was too distracted by the Job 2 changes. BUT... the flow chart and price tables have now been updated. Those who were impacted are probably just now starting to look at delivery.

Great thread, thank you so much for putting all this info together! Our Bronco has arrived at the dealer and looks to be ready for purchase. I want to be as prepared as I can before going in so any help on what we should be getting in price protection would be great:

Day one reservation holder here, placed order in Oct. 2020. Originally OB with Lux, Sas, Mic, Mod bumper, and Tow pkg. When it was obvious we weren't getting our Bronco in the first year the dealer had us reorder again for model 22. We changed to Badlands and took off the tow at dealers advice in hopes it would help the build along. Also added dual top option.

After waiting like most people and still no 22 Bronco we received the email from Ford about model 23 constraints. For us, taking all 3 options off was a deal breaker so per the dealer we decided to remove the Mic. Scheduled and then built in Feb 23 and sat in "the Bronco parking lot" until 3 week ago when we got the email in transit and finally delivered.

We have 3 different price sheets from Ford: Preview Orders from 06/30/22, 10/04/22, and the current window sticker (and destination has gone up to $200 now lol) all with different pricing for msrp and group 334A. I've confirmed we have the price protection certificate good until Oct, what other reductions should I be eligible for? Thanks in advance!
