Man, I asked a lot of questions about that fitment so close to the grill before I ordered mine. I wonder if it has something to do with the updated frame brackets they're sending me, which should be here tomorrow? Have you talked to @srqfabrications about it? They were really responsive when I was missing parts and I received those yesterday...

I probably won't be able to install mine until Sunday and will probably take most the day with wiring the winch and now having to do a few mods. I think I was going to notch out the top-middle of the plate so I don't have to relocate the winch control box as it needs probably 1/2-3/4 inch to clear. I might trim some of that edge as well while I'm at it...

Hey, it does look great though!
After not getting instructions, Then having to watch YouTube videos with parts that don’t even look like theirs. I just kind of took it into my own hands and reworked it until it fit. I will upload some pictures when I get back to the bronco later.

fitment is not great. On both ends I have the bumper right against my grill and rubbing on it. Also. If you move the ACC. I’m having an issue with it reading and actually working. It seems that it’s catching the bull bar.
If you have a front camera with a sprayer. You’ll have to delete it and cap it. Since there is no place to put the sprayer.
So.. now the fun part of modifying to make it work perfectly.

not also seems like anytime you might have to take off the grill. The bumper will also have to come off.

Is the white line what you are cutting off?

How much did front end drop?

Yes. That’s more or less how much I cut off.
so… DO NOT powder coat this thing until all your measurements are done

Did you notice any loss in height in the front end?

I did not notice any loss in height. But when driving the bronco. You can absolutely feel it up there. I have the 2.7L and noticed some of the “pep” trying harder. It’s also been like 106 in Texas the last 3 days.

Yeah, I was certainly not impressed with the misc links and photos, without any real instructions.

@srqfabrications I also asked about the gap between the grill and the bumper and was assured that there would be at least 1/2 inch gap.

@srqfabrications why is the fitment so bad on this bumper? I also asked about the gap between the grill and the bumper and was assured that there would be at least 1/2 inch gap.

From their own photos, that's how it's supposed to look... Seems something was amiss with this.

Y'all have me mad worried about this, if it doesn't fit what are non-technicals like me to do haha? No tools and no instructions rip my sanity

the non-technicals are the ones I worry about.

tbh, there really isn’t a way to do anything about it if you don’t have the tools.
I had to physically grind off some metal then use a flip disk to smooth it out.
SRQ needs to get an installer in the shop to film an install video.
the video they use is installing what looks like a DV8 acc bracket and the guy from Motoroso installing an ARB front bumper. Which was ok.
but I also had to use a drill to make the holes bigger in the side brackets that go on the sides of the frame.

maybe they are reading this post and are going to take 20 weeks to also deliver your bumper so they can take the time to visit and rework some of these issues.

Would love to give the benefit of the doubt here but I won't lie, I'll be big mad if it doesn't fit right out the box lol.

All we can do it wait and hope.
I really do pray that every else’s experience is different from mine. I was so excited for this bumper when I ordered it in February. Had some high hopes for this company.
The day they sent me a confirmation email saying shipped. I was gonna call and cancel it and buy a ADD bumper with the Baja design lights.

im not saying to do that. But if I didn’t have the resources, it would have most me more then the 20% to fix these issues. Not to mention the 300 I paid to have it powder coated then had to do the work on it. Im choosing to use it as such for a bit and see if I want to get it re powdered soon or see where I stand in a few months.

Yeah don't get me wrong, IMO still the best looking bumper there is and still the one I want.

I just don't have the tools or skills to modify it at all from how it ships.
