I will eventually get to a Dyno. As you see in my sig, I have done quite a few mods to help this along. For what it is, it is fun to drive. It def has more power than when it was stock.

As I said efficiency is what I wanted to go for, and some fun of course.

Could not see the water bypass like stock. OP says there is one. Still would not do a water run with that setup.
Unless you're full sending through >3ft of water, the puddles will be perfectly fine. The hood obstructs it from reaching the inlet.
That stock bypass won't do much when you're throttling. It only has a 1 inch gap for the water to fall when there's suction from throttling.

I’m curious what the dyno gains are with the ford performance tune. Probably not as heroic as what injen is claiming. But for a simple mod it’s fine.

Im probably not going to do this because I’m waiting for the carb approved 2023 Ford Performance re-map and I won’t notice it at that point, but for anyone chasing dyno numbers it’s not a bad $/smile trade. I’ve definitely seen more expensive CAIs with worse gains and much worse quality.
It should absolutely be a gain on top of the tune. You will be pushing more air and therefore can use more fuel.

I'm curious what ours would dyno but I never have the time to do it. I've never dynoed my performance cars so it'd be silly to dyno this. However, it is now the most modified car I've owned which is silly, but it just seems right to be messing with these things, not sure why, it'd be just as painful as replacing BMW parts.

Just had mine installed yesterday 2023 Wild track. Drove it home no engine light. This morning started it up have an engine light and code. 🤬

Hmmm a lot to go through, if you did not install it yourself, hard to pinpoint what it could be. I would start with making sure the PVC connectors are on and tight. The one on the bottom to the right with the orange coupling can come loose if not attached correctly. Actually, all of these can. My second one was not tight when I checked it the first time but was on. Was not snap all the way in.

I would then check to make sure the upper charge pipe Y connector is fully seated. (On the right, big Y pipe coming up) Make sure that any of the couplers are also tight and connected.

Last make sure all the connections to the turbos are tight.

It sounds as if something has come loose. Check to make sure any other fitments or caps as suggested are also in place.

Hope this helps. If all else, take it back to who did the install and have them check their work.

Thanks, I took it this morning, he checked everything and retighten everything. Need to maybe use Forscan to reset and see if comes back. He will do that in a bit. Didn't have his laptop at the shop.🫤

PCV or CCV? I don't think PVC had to be messed with.🤔

I may have the names wrong, but check the three there that had to be removed. The two on the left, and the lower one on the right.

Knowing what the code actually is would help a lot.

What year is yours? Mine is a 23. Here is the code. We pulled lubricated and reattached the CCV tube and reset code.🤞

That's the lower one with the funky disconnect tool? I can see how it could be done wrong. It really doesn't give you any indication that its seated that we could tell.

Ours is a 22.

Yes, that one. That was one of the ones I was talking about. It came with a tool to remove it, but did not really explain it well. Also when putting it back on, it was easy to think it was in, but would not be. I used my needle nose on it, and I heard a click. Then I tried to push it off to know it was connected well.

I don't know if we got a click or not, but I yanked on it and it didn't budge. If we get the CEL I'll know where to start!

What year is yours? Mine being a 23, caused a similar code with dual catch can. I had to remove catch can hoses from CCV side and replace with a new stock hose. Seems only a problem with 23 MY. Hoping not same problem with mine being a 23. 🤬

I've got one coming as well, hey, every little bit helps-adds up. Try to keep your sprung weight low so you can throw a box of moonshine in the back and leave them behind on the levee, That's where it all started, isn't it? Now we got NASCAR
