So I did not like the way the factory plate holder looked above the bumper (wife did not really care and thought it made the Bronco look taller). My plates showed up today and wanted to get them on and still had not found an option that I liked. So I got to screwing around with how to mount the tag and tried this. Flipped factory bracket upside down and moved it in front of the active shutters in the middle of the bumper. Actually fit in the space pretty slick. I added some spacers and used some screws and centered it and screwed then to the plastic cover in the middle of the shutters. I do not have the adaptive cruise and nothing was behind it. I think it turned out decent with out having it hang down and have to remove when off roading.

Oooo nice. (y)

Not sure I would be willing to do that—I wouldn't want to block any air intake for the intercooler. But it absolutely looks a lot better than the factory location.

I’m told that the Adaptive Cruise Control sensor is behind that fiat panel, so I didn’t want to block that.

Looks good! My solution is to not live in a state that requires a front plate LOL. But seriously, I work remotely and 2 years ago my wife and I wanted to move north from Florida to have seasons to raise our kids. I said "no states that require a front plate". My sister lives in VA and wanted me to move near her, and she thinks I'm completely crazy because I said no way because I'd have to have a front plate :ROFLMAO:

Agree, I but have seen the winch set up and thought it blocks part of it. If any issues 2 screws and its off.

Hey I like the set up! Did you screw it to the black box that's in that area?
I have a base SAS no adaptive cruise control. Do you know if that interferes with the collision assist feature? I saw a mount that sits it low but its off to the side. I'd prefer to have the license plate centered

I did screw it to the black box/cover that is located in the center. I checked behind it and found there to be nothing there. Check yours to be certain. Some have commented on air flow for the intercooler having issues but since I have installed I have seen no problems as there is still airflow around it. I also run the 2.3 FPP and have seen no issues. I like mine centered also and did not care for the lower mount as would have to remove tag when off roading. Easy install.

The Ford winch mount blocks very little of the opening. In addition, Ford specifically recommends against it. I would be concerned that by the time you see any issues, it will be too late.

Edit: It does look really good, though.
