What's the best tailgate table?

That isn't the ford one? I want to install one but the Ford one is pricey and I dont want to drill into the car.

I'm back and forth between a cheap MIC Amazon one and the nicer made in US JCR one.
I've read that the Amazon ones maybe have trouble staying latched--they use some pretty small latches.

The only knock I've heard on the JCR one is that rubber latches, while robust, take up a lot of room which actually makes the table depth a little shorter (the table doesn't go all the way up when folded, see sketch).

Plus the difference between $170 and $270.

No drill install and it seems pretty heavy duty though I haven't put anything really heavy on it yet. I like the Molle panel when it's folded up; provides a place to store more gear. In fact, I considered just getting a Molle panel but it really wasn't that much more to get a table with a Molle panel, so I went with the table. It does rattle a little bit when on a rough road, but I've decided to consider such things charming in a vehicle meant to be rugged and outdoorsy. If you want silence buy a Lexus.

Mabett sells like crazy here. You'd be surprised what accessories people will bolt to a brand new vehicle.

Without a doubt, the best one out there is from Outdoor Adventures, named the Trailgator.
Is it the least expensive? Definitely not.
Does it rattle? definitely not.
Do you have to drill into your Bronco? Definitely not.
It is definitely solid and the built in cutting board is a very nice touch. Check it out...

You're confusing 'price' with 'value'.

The Ford table is well made but so are others out there for half the price. Ergo, a better value.

OP, I also have a Mabett table with the slide out cutting board. Cook on one side, prep on the other. The small molle panel when it's folded up is a nice touch.
No rattle after tightetning some small screws. It's been the most used and better value piece I've purchased for my Bronco:

I love my TrailGater and no drilling. The inserts are questionable so be careful but no rattles yet and is quality. In the $400 range

I have the JCR table. Doesn't rattle. I chose this one because it was no-drill and had a molle panel. The manufacturing tolerances could be better, but overall I'm very happy with it. I've been waiting to see if American Adventure Lab will release a Bronco version of their Versable, which they said they will eventually.
