These installers must be using an awfully dull bit with a lot of pressure. All the more reason to do your own mods.
some bits like to grab on the way through and use that as leverage to just plow on through.

though I could understand a dent, but going THROUGH the outer skin is really impressive.

Sorry for the install screwup. But this is a DIY install in my opinion.

Just wanted to throw this out there for anyone getting the rear swing gate table accessory installed. Please let your installer know to use a drill depth guard.

Unfortunately mine was installed today and now I have an extra drain hole in my vehicle. The bit went all the way through the exterior of my rig. My installer now knows some new words he may have never heard before... so I thought I would share my woes here while I wait on a body shop to get parts that are on backorder to replace my rear swing gate.

On another note the table itself is pretty awesome and super tight fit so no rattle possible. The rigid sticker is just there to keep the hole covered until it gets replaced...

I know it's a bit late, but I ordered the table about a year ago before I had my Bronco...while waiting for my Badsquatch to come in September. I installed a similar table in my son's JK...second thoughts for sure.

I opted out of installing my table. Since I've purchased the JCR. $100 more is worth it not to drill and Rivnut tailgate.
