Just to follow up on this topic, the Venture Pro lift is working well for me. I'm able to quickly break it down into something small enough to store when not in use, and can maneuver it so that Bronco can fit in garage with top over hood. If I moved all the junk behind the lift I would have more clearance behind the Bronco, but wanted to test it out first to make sure.

Wow. Looks like it really doesn't take up too much space when storing the top.

I could have actually parked closer to the lift itself, but I have some tire blocks on the floor in the garage that I didn't want to move.

That's awsome! I have the 2 door TLP on order. I feel confident that it will be a great fit in my space now. Thanks for sharing.

Mine arrived today. Now I have to assemble it. Any recommended video’s to watch to help with installation?

Looking to buy this or the original. sounds like the only disadvantage vs original is that the rear window needs to stay open, with the advantage the legs fold for storage, and possibly the foot pedal.. (sounds like breaking it down is going to be something I’m too lazy to do)

also don’t know what to make of the spring clearance sale to “make room for new inventory and models”. Does that mean ther might be an updated origina? Would seem to me that with something so big and bulky there should be an integrated panel storage (yess I saw the home mod)

The venture pro was delivered today. FedEx says two boxes but one has a delivery exception saying the tracking numbers are duplicates. Does it come in two boxes?

I’ve used mine a few times now and it’s working out great. I had to flip the spring loaded knobs up top. They were installed up-side-down and the top dropped down suddenly the first time I used it. Luckily nothing bad happened.

The foot pedal is great, the safety pull cord could be better but I’ll guess I’ll get used to it. I put some paste wax on all the parts that move and/or adjust and it made a huge difference in the smoothness of the whole operation.

I modified mine to allow storage of the two front panels.

Instructions not the easiest to follow; video was helpful.

That’s a good idea. I’ve just been throwing mine on top of a shipping blanket on the clamshell but that does cause the pipes to bow more. If my garage was deep enough I’d do what you did. Because I have a big toolbox in my garage I need the space to drive over the base.

I received mine and have been pretty happy with it. I wanted something that is easy to break down and store when not in use, and this really fits the bill. I have to agree with some of the other posters about the storage boxes, mine were so busted up from shipping they were useless, ended up at the dump. They really aren't sturdy enough to even bother with, even if they sent me new ones. So hopefully those boxes aren't a big selling point for you. Mine also was missing a couple of set screws for the spring-loaded knobs. I found one rolling around inside the "storage" box, have no idea where the other one got too. Top Lift was responsive and set me a couple replacement set screws.

Just to clarify, are you not able to close the rear window with this version?

Ok...so dumb question, but my garage is small and I need to back into it to fit, could I basically back in under the lift top venture pro with the top on it as apposed to pulling in? I'm sure the rear tire factor will put it far back, but would this work? Any chance you could do it in your garage with a pic? Haha...I also have the Badlands sas loaded in area 51.
