Would any of you fine folks who’ve ordered from McMaster want to sell and ship a few to Canada?

At $21 USD for shipping alone it’s hard to justify.
Especially when the clamps cost less than a dollar each...way less. Oddly enough, my passenger side clamp was missing from the factory...there was an indentation where a clamp once was, but I suspect maybe they put it together and then had to do some final adjustment of some sort and then never replaced the clamp. How much does it cost to send person to person US packages to CA?

Yeah I just ordered mine yesterday from pelican. I didn't know they were actually in California (actually I didn't even know about them at all until someone brought it up)

2 clamps to my door, just under $10.

Wouldn't be worth helping out my Canadian brothers because by the time I had it shipped here, And then mailed it on it'd be probably around the same price.

But if someone has not ordered yet, throwing in some extra clamps for the same price in shipping, It would be worthwhile.

I’ve had mine in now for a few weeks and one good full day of off road and everything seems great to me. Just don’t overthink the clamp. 😁

Well I think all the folks that are hard enough to even have a chance at breaking something, haven't had a chance to install it yet because either they were in Moab, but their Broncos still broken in their garage (hint, hint snacky)

It’d be harder to sell their passenger side housing if people thought a bushing was enough? Maybe. Other possibilities include one company’s manufacturing process and scale is so bad they’d have to charge $700 if you want both bushings
That's actually not the reason if you did any research into the Broncbuster product.

@scotman623

I wheeled a Moab last week for five days every thing went fine. I bounced the front end twice try to go up slick smooth rock walls, use Baja mode up to 50 mph, climbed step up's. Talked to the guy at BB and he said that no should install a bushing on the passages side that under stress it could shatter cause rack failure at speed and cause a wreak. Haha. I drove hard and fast all week, drove 11 hour each way and all is good.

Since you know the reason - which isn’t it? The inability to sell the housing or the inability to scale and reduce cost of the bushing(s)? I listed two probabilities. No research was done because I just don’t care (as most don’t)

The non lobed bushing is 350
A lobed one would have to be more

so there is that

The $350 lobe one is the driver side correct? Oddly enough on the driver side because of that ridge that the snap ring sits against the bushing will never fit tight for its full circumference in the rack. The passenger side, however, even after it clears the ridge and doesn't touch the sides of the rack all the way around, the inner part will fit tightly in between the inner housing and the shaft.
